Such language from such a sweet little pony!! Another good slice of life episode! Flut sure has come a long way from being a doormat. Her parents are SO much like I thought they would be. Also, I know the shippers are chopping at the bits to post their ZephyrDash art and fanfics! Overall: 8/10 NOTE: If I ever draw Rock with a "stallion-bun," please smack the hell out of me!!!
What no Samurai Rockout? It was interesting to see another sibling who isn't still little like Sweetiebell and Appleblossom.
Language, Fluttershy! Such a nice episode, its good to see some more character development from Flutters. Zephyr Breeze was pretty annoying. Hope we get to see more of the Shy family. I have a feeling there's going to be a lot of ZephyrDash shipping soon. The song was pretty good too. Overall, I'd give it a 8.5/10 Also, did anyone else notice Link pony from LoZ?
This episode would've have been more useful about 2 weeks ago when I started a new job after having one for over 10 years, but still a really good episode. 8/10. This season is really going strong.

Dear Princess Celestia, Today I learned that even when your brother is being a jerk, don't punch him. Even after he has "reformed" but has only become less of a jerk, still don't punch him. I have never wanted to punch a cartoon horse in the face more than I did while watching this episode. Fluttershy's brother has a very punchable face. Also, if you ship ZephyrDash, you are stupid, and I have no desire to speak to you anymore.
Thoughts are below in spoilers as always. Spoiler Let me start by saying that I was so happy that we finally got to see Fluttershy's parents. I like that the show is doing this for all the characters because there are still some characters whose families are 'unknown' and now Fluttershy isn't one of those characters (Rainbow Dash still is though...) Now we know where Fluttershy got her shyness, quite voice, demeanor, and occasionally being unable to stand up for herself. Anyway... onto the episode... Zephyr Breeze... was quite the opposite to Fluttershy. Shockingly so. Almost makes me think he was adopted or something. He's just no where close to Fluttershy or her parents personality wise. As the episode went on, this guy just proved how much of an idiot and jerk he can be. Plus he kept thinking Rainbow Dash liked him. UM... NO. How this guy kept screwing up is beyond me... but I guess being scared of failure is something that you can get. But you really just have to keep trying and even if you do fail, that allows to learn a lesson out of it, and grow from it. The moral seemed somewhat like 'common sense' to me but that could just be me. Either way this one was certainly better than the last and I quite enjoyed it. Stay away everyone!! Fluttershy is 'peeved'!! Pretty decent episode.

It's taken her 5 seasons to be more assertive and deal with stuff, her fears and shyness, now she dealt with family drama in character and it was good.
Okay, my thoughts... Spoiler: WATCH IT IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY This is a damn good episode, if I say so myself. It seems that Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy get the lion's share of controversial episodes... when the focus is on either one of them alone. When they share the focus of an episode, however, we get some of the best episodes of the series. Dash and Flutters have an excellent character dynamic going in this kind of episode, making the episode better than it would be if the focus was just on one of them alone. Honestly, it's almost as if Rainbow/Fluttershy episodes are the equivalent of the "Road to..." episodes in Family Guy (back when it was good, at least). In those episodes, Brian and Stewie play perfectly off each other, and make the episodes work. There's also Zephyr. Dear God, Zephyr. It's kind of scary that Zephyr has a lot in common with me (laziness, fear of failure, etc.). Fluttershy's speech to him in the forest (the preceding portions of that scene being a hilarious sendup to Cast Away, i.e. the movie where Tom Hanks befriends a basketball on a deserted island) even sounds like some of the things people have told me in my life. And I'd totally feel bad for the guy... if he weren't such a douchebag. Seriously, I've never wanted to punch a pony this badly since Diamond Tiara was still an antagonist. He's so lucky that he's Fluttershy's little brother, because any other family would have kicked him out onto the streets and forbidden him from coming back to their place until he had found a job and a place to live. This guy just PEEVES me off. (Cover your ears, kiddies! >:3) Oh, and he's very creepy with Rainbow Dash. I mean, Dashie's my favorite pony, but even I wouldn't flirt like that. I'd be much more subtle. Get to know her. Take it slow. That sort of thing. Oh God. THIS GUY'S A FLANDERIZED VERSION OF ME, ISN'T HE?! Are you trying to tell us something about your thoughts towards the periphery demographic, writers? Also, Fluttershy... normally, she's my least favorite of the Mane 6, but now... she's moved up the list: 1. Rainbow Dash 2. Applejack 3. Rarity 4. Twilight 5. Fluttershy 6. Pinkie Sorry, Ponks. I don't really find you as interesting as all the others. You're still in high esteem, tho. Anyway, Fluttershy has FINALLY GROWN as a character, and seeing her compared to her parents, who are S1-Flutters levels of pushover, I may add, is just the icing on the cake. Also, I know FiM's thing is sarcastic humor (no wonder we get along so well with the Transformers fandom), but seeing Fluttershy, of all ponies, being snarky is just glorious. Rainbow was very fun as well. She's the same pone I had enjoyed since I first entered the fandom some two years ago, and had very reasonable reactions to Zephyr's... ahem, advances. Overall... 10/10 100% A+ ★★★★ TWO THUMBS UP
