"You mind if I take care of the music? It'll be my gift to her." She looked uncertain for a moment. "Also, what's her favorite band? Who would she most want to see?"
"Don't think she has one favorite. Megadoom comes to mind. So so Fauststein, Cannibal Horse, Eyes of Leaves and Dragonfire. She's got a pretty wide array of metal she's into. Yeah, you can take care of that. You and your connections. Heh." (I'm pretty certain the references were clear. But if not, Megadeth, Rammstein, Cannibal Corpse, Leaves' Eyes and Dragonforce.)
"Marq's connections, actually. He just lets me use them. And Fauststein always puts on a hell of a show, so I think I'll see if I can't get them."
"Oh yeah, all that pyro is pretty cool. Nice for ponies that only speak Basic, can't follow the lyrics and all."
"Basic?" she thought "I'd have gone with Germane. Heh. Horse puns." "So, big party or small get-together?"
(I used Basic to refer to English. ) "Start smaller, see where it goes from there." "Gonna invite her parents?" Asmo asked, walking into the bar. Maya winced. "Okay. You wanna hit him, or should one of us?"
Nightshade flicked a jalapeno from her omelet across the room, landing it neatly in Asmo's nostril. "It's not impossible, but I'm not gonna cross that line."
"Mother f-" Asmo flailed, hit his head on the door frame, and finally sneezed. "Good throw," said Dusty.
Silver nodded, took the papers, and slipped them back into his bag. "Thank you. I will drop these at the census office. I will be back tonight, so farewell for now." He glanced at Nightshade as he left. "Your aim is impeccable, but your technique is getting sloppy."
"Take care, dude!" Maya waved. "And uhh... easy on her. That's the best toss I've ever seen." "No, it's fine..." Asmo stood up. "Asshat's just fine. Just bumped his head. Dicks."
The huge semi grumbled up to the bar, picking a place next to it so that it didn't obstruct the parking lot. The big stallion hefted himself out, heavy hoofs stamping on the ground, and a swift slam on the door. Oak looked around for a second. He had rode for a bit, and his flank was sore. It was nice to be outside. He thought for a moment. Felt he thought he had forgotten about something, but Oak just waved it off. If he forgot about anything, it wasn't anything worth remembering. Oak went up to the entrance and ducked in. He looked around for a moment. Cozy little place. He liked the atmosphere. Seemed like a place where the owner might work the counter, not that he could tell right away. And so he just approached the counter.
Asmodeus chuckled and poked Azrael as the new stallion walked inside. "Wow, Az. This pony sounds bigger than you. How long till you get your eyes back?" Azrael sighed. "Five minutes, give or take." Maya smiled warmly from behind the counter at the new patron. "Hey, big guy. Don't think I've seen you around. Love the facial hair."
Charming Snowstorm needlessly lost after a failed mission to retrieve Royal Guard based equipment, lost after a horrible crash of a support Helicopter meant to send important Ammo and Weapons to the Crystal Empire for practice and protection purposes. Finds a little bar to take a rest in. Reading the sign aloud he tries to make a bad pun "Maya's Bar? More like Buy-a Beer" he instantly face palms at his owned failed pun and decide to enter the Bar. As he walks in he notices many different figures. Analyzing them closer, he sees a Alicorn. He thinks for a second [A Alicorn owns and runs a Bar? Can any female be a Alicorn now? Because at this point, it seems to mean less and less] [However! I must not be rude, I am lost, so I could use a drink and some directions, so yeah.] He walked his way over to the bar. "One Ale Please!" he looks directly at the Alicorn, before looking around the others. [I hope I'm making a good impression, some of these people look violent.....]
Oak gave a hearty laugh at the compliment. "Much obliged," He spoke in his very deep, very rumbly voice. "You guys got stuff to eat?" He looked around for a moment. He decided it was best to keep to the staff, possibly, or at least for the moment. The other fairly large fella working the place certainly looked like someone he could get along with, and the one who complimented him seemed friendly enough.
"One ale, other new dude!" Maya happily poured him an ale and slid it to him. "And welcome." She turned her attention back to this giant. "Always. Look like a... pancakes guy. Big eater?"
