"Zer, your internal clock is really messed up right now. go sit in a corner and get your thoughts straight."
Oak looked around for a moment. He finally settled his eyes on the jukebox, and thought to himself for a moment before he affirmed something to himself in his head. He trudged over to the machine, looked at it for a second, and proceeded with whatever ramifications it took to start the thing, with some loose change. He looked for a second more, and found what he was looking for: Bob the Singer and the Silver Magic Band. (You know... Play on Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band?)
(Yeah, I got it.) "Good song," Dusty commented. "We have a little bit of everything on that machine."
(OOC for the newbies: Heart Song is the name of my Changeling character's preferred pony form. When she's undisguised, or using a disguise other than her Heart Song form, she's called Cricket. She's married to a Unicorn, Blackout, and has a year-old daughter, Hope.) Heart Song walked in, carrying Hope on her back. "I smell Alicorn love. Two Alicorns. Did Luna and Twilight Sparkle finally hook up?"
"I ship Luna with Tia," Maya said, bringing out the plates of pancakes and giving them to her lovely customers.
Heart Song blinked in surprise. "You're an Alicorn now. Okay, well, that is certainly a thing that is happening." She slid into a booth and sat Hope beside her. "Milk and honey for the kid. The same for me, but pour in a splash of Connemara cream."
"Ir certainly is." Maya quickly whipped up their drinks, floating them over. "Did it to keep Dusty Jr. from killing me terribly. That'd be bad."
"That's a little more reasonable. I swear, some of the names ponies come up with are ridiculous! Like, just the other day, I met a mare who'd named her kids Mary, John, and Timothy. Not joking."
"I met a pony named [CENSORED] when I went to take my citizenship test. Poor mare had only just found out the week before what it actually meant. She goes by Windy Willow now."
