Spoiler: Unfair Youtube Sub Purge (Language Warning!) As of Tuesday June 28th 2016(Today), A huge Youtube Sub Purge happened. Content creators that saw roughly any amount of subs dealt with a harsh and unjust decrease due to the purge. Some lesser known channels only lost a few hundred, while moderate and bigger channels saw sub deceases of 5k to 10k+ in subs out of nowhere! Some that got hit PewDiePie, HMK, Egoraptor, etc. are reportedly being unsubbed. Active accounts that watch these channels being unsubbed to content creators out of nowhere! Keep an eye out Content Creators! Something is fishy on Youtube...
I think you are mentally blocking out that I said ACTIVE accounts. Youtube is unsubbing active accounts from content creators. This isn't a purge for spam or inactive accounts anymore. People are literally reporting that they were unsubbed from their fave content creators by Youtube and those reports are growing.
No problem. I know that the system normally purges inactive or spam accounts. But today, it was basically purging perfectly active accounts. People who do get on, on a daily basis. It's unusual and people are already spreading rumors of some hacker messing with Youtube and Google.
That's not a new thing, they do that unfortunately every month or so. This month it was only more extreme...
Uh... so? If it's an active account, what's to stop them from resubscribing? This doesn't really sound as insidious as you're making it out to be. Plus, it hurt PewDiePie, and his suffering makes me happy. I really hate that guy.
