"I most certainly do." Black's mug of cider was halfway empty at this point. "I don't use products for mares, but I think I may reconsider now."
"Stallions' mane products are a joke when you live to beat and bruise. I'm not afraid to admit this."
"Actually, now that I think about it, stallions' mane products are a joke, period. Maybe I should just switch to Marél for everything. I'm surprised my mane's stayed in such a good condition for so long."
"What are those two doing over there, anyway?" Blackout asked with only the faintest hint of curiosity. "Who knows?" Nightshade replied. "None of our business." Marq seemed fascinated by Windsor. "Am I the only one seeing the barstool waiting tables?"
Maya rolled her eyes. "You mean the bar stool doing my jo--" She jumped and gasped, cradling her belly. "Buck!" Dusty rushed over and helped her stay standing. "Dear. Maya. What's wrong?" "I think I... It's too early... it's too bucking early! Even for a.. bucking alicorn! God damn it!"
Cricket instantly shifted to her Changeling form and rushed over to Maya. "Get her upstairs. Uh... we need some clean towels... cold compresses... crap, what else..." Winter walked over, unconcerned. "This is way too soon. It's probably just false labor."
Dusty glanced behind his wife, going pale. "I don't think it is..." Azrael raised an eyebrow. "Unexpected." Maya growled. "Ow! *squee!*ing mother *squee!*er! Nnng... there's towels in all the rooms."
Saber stood with a worried look. She hated it, but she had no idea what to do at this moment other than to stand shocked
"Skydust. With me." Silver picked Maya up and flew her upstairs, placing her gently in one of the beds. Cricket and Winter followed them up the stairs.
"Agh... Broke... Get this kid outta me... safely." That baby was ready, and it was painful. Maya had tears streaming down her face. She was doing her best not to scream. At this point, it was time no go a little lighter on the details. Dusty grabbed ten clean towels from the bathroom and set them down. His magic could substitute for proper cold compresses. Azrael remained calm downstairs. "Heh. The Dreaded One survived me. She'll survive this."
"Aw, thanks," he lightly blushed at Az's compliment. "That's real..." He trailed off once he noticed Maya convulsing as a result of her pregnancy. "Yeah, hope she'll get through this okay."
