Winter wrapped the colt in a blanket and passed him to Silver, who in turn passed him to Maya. "A healthy colt. Congratulations."
"A colt..." Maya weakly cradled her new foal, big smile on her face. "Welcome to the world... Moondust." "Finally." Dusty let a tear escape his eye as he crawled up beside Maya to visit with the foal. "Hehehe. You know who he looks like?" Maya shook her head. "Don't say it, babe." The colt was starting to calm down in his mother's hooves.
Black's ears flicked at the commotion in the room above them. "Sounds like she's successfully delivered," he said as he heard the sound of a foal crying.
Silver, Winter, and Cricket quickly cleaned up the disgusting byproducts of the Miracle of Childbirth and headed downstairs to give the proud parents some time alone.
"Yep, upstairs. I don't know whether it's a colt or a filly though. Either way, I hope they're happy."
Asmo snickered. "It's a colt." Dusty could be heard upstairs, demanding, "Asmodeus, close the eye, now!"
"A healthy Alicorn colt," Silver confirmed. "Quite remarkable, really. Until recently, I was not aware that male Alicorns even existed."
Saber came galloping so fast that she tumbled down the stairs, head ramming straight into the floor at the bottom. She stood and staggered for a moment before tackling Asmo in a tight hug. "Too damn long."
Saber loosened her hug a bit, then let go. "You, me love, will have to sit before I tell you about my day away."
