Do you think there's too much slice of life in MLP? Sure, the show is mostly slice of life, but I'd like more adventure episodes.

    What do you think?

No, but the "slice of life" episodes are lowering in quality.:DFH:

I think the show has a pretty good balance between the slice of life and adventure episodes. The heart of the show seems to be more to the side of the former and I really enjoy that. Some complain but I really have nothing bad to say about it.

    I don't think so no.

Complainers will always be around, you just have to learn to ignore them.

I like the mix of the two honestly.

Well, yeah there has been a lot of slice of episodes, but I enjoy it. I honestly like the adventure episodes, too.

I like the mix they have right now, but I prefer the slice of life episodes. They lean toward more character development and back story than episodes having to deal with an antagonist.

    Yeah, no.

One of my favorite things about Season Six so far has been the return to the slice of life format.

The slice-of-life episodes are the best part of the show. I like the episodes in the middle of a season far better than the season premiers and finales for precisely that reason. It's that quality that makes the show memorable and makes you feel good watching it.
