Nothing to apologize for. I just wanted to let you to know that (hopefully) nobody here will be rude or condescending to you because of your age. Honestly, you seemed a little defensive about it in your first post, so I'm assuming it's been a problem for you in the past.
Firstly, Welcome to this lovely little crazy part of the world. I assure you that you'll find some good friends before too long on here. If you do have any problems, don't be afraid to ask for help. I'm sure any of us could help you. Secondly, a little Grimdark always is a amazing thing in my book. Though, I openly admit that not everyone will share your sentiments with the Cupcakes fan-fic. It's mostly due to controversy started with the Party of One episode. This topic is especially touchy with Pinkie Pie fans. Though if I could pic a Grimdark fan-fic I enjoy, it's most defiantly the Silent Ponyville series. Very well made little stories that integrate the world of Silent Hill to MLP.
I agree with your point about Cupcakes, and I respect the people that think negatively of the story. Everyone has an opinion, and the right to it. And I'll DEFINITELY have to read the Silent Ponyville series, you have piqued my interest.
Silent Ponyville Silent Ponyville 2 Study of the Mind Delve (This one is mandatory for understanding Silent Ponyville 3) Silent Ponyville 3 These stories are really good and the writer is Jake Hiratagu, though he changed the username to Sam Rose. The first Silent Ponyville has a few spelling and grammatical errors, but they really don't detract from the story too much. There was suppose to be a game too based off the first one, but that's been in game development hell for the past few years. Here is a link for the blog. No problem. The Study of the Mind Delve is the only side story linked to the Silent Ponyville series that is required for Silent Ponyville 3. The side stories with Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy are optional and only lightly link to the plots of Silent Ponyville 2 and 3, but not enough to be considered mandatory to the main story of the series by any means.
