Untold adventures await, just come to the Nosy Pony Inn in Canterlot in a week's time, from there the expedition will begin!

In this RP, you will be following Bright Heart far to the south of Equestria to the mysterious lands beyond the Tall Spire Mountains that divide the Zebra savannahs from the jungles and forests to the south. No pony has any idea what exactly is to be found, but with the allure of rumors of vast gold deposits and other incredible amounts of natural bounty promise those first to discover it vast wealth. However it will not be easy, the journey is long, the jungle thick, and the possibility of...non-sociable natives await. Each action you take can affect the final outcome, so choose wisely...

Background: Bright Light was raised in a rough neighborhood, getting in and out of trouble with the law in her early years. She attempted to join the army at one point to get away from her past, but her record failed her. Interested in her potential [Redacted] approached her and offered her a position as a "civilian contractor". She agreed once finding out what civilian contractor is just fancy talk for. Her can-do attitude and constant willingness to prove herself quickly earned the respect of her employers, getting promoted to captain and command over her own company of other "civilian contractors". This expedition is her chance to prove herself deserving.
