"This pony-- Racket Hoof-- I'll have Blackheart call a meeting with him. He won't refuse. He can't refuse. The security at his estate will be lax while he's away. We'll slip in, take the place of a couple of his servants, and wait for him to come home." She sighed. "That's as far as I've gotten. Getting in will be easy. Dealing with Racket... not too difficult. It's the getting back out alive that worries me."
Cricket nodded. "That'll work. You heard me on the phone, right? Horseshoe Bay docks, number twelve, ten tonight."
"Right, got it. Hey, something tells me you'll want a jab at him, too, so... care to join me in his bedroom when he falls asleep?"
Xion : (has made his way from the camp to the town over the past few days. Walks towards the direction of the bar) Edmond: I'd be careful. Extremely careful, the main timeline can still reassert itself, if that happens. Well let's just say, if anything that has happened is bad, this'll be worse, so just be cautious as you all proceed.
Cricket nodded, staring at the picture on the obituary page. It continued to shift, one second Blackout, the next second Racket Hoof. Tonight would decide the ultimate fate of both ponies. For the other to live, one had to die.
Cricket looked at Star, considering. The little mare was fairly well-know, at least to music fans. She could certainly distract the guards long enough to allow Cricket and Asmo to escape unnoticed. "Asmo, what do you think?"
*In the corner, flickering in and out of existence like the image on the paper flickered between the two ponies, was Edmond? And the one that was seated at the bar flickered faintly too, but less noticeably.*
"YES! just let me go pack some things!" She happily galloped out of the bar and came back with a saddle bag full of what looked straight out of a Spy movie.
Dusty tilted his head. "Are you with the Assassins' Guild? You seem very prepared and downright eager to do this." Azrael noticed the extra flickering. "Odd. Human. What are you planning?"
I'm not. Like I said the main timeline could try to reassert itself. I'm most likely the only time traveler who also has crossed Universes here, thus the most anomalous thing that needs corrected. So the timelines are trying to overwrite me in this instance with the version existing in the main timeline.
"Oh what looked of this?! No its just some stuff I bought at a convention. It does work though!" She pulled out a grappling hook and fired it at a beam up in the ceiling and then dragged herself up into the ceiling.
