"Sure thing." He cleared his throat and stepped in front of a microphone, remembering back to when he did his warm ups with Dusty.
Cricket shrugged in Edmond's general direction. "I don't know how this time travel stuff works. I just know that it's giving me a chance to keep Blackout alive." She stood up, and tossed some bits on the counter for her drinks. "Nova, Static, it was nice seeing you again, but I need to go get ready for tonight." (Okay, so that's two major plot events set in motion. If anyone else has anything they want to have happen tonight in-RP, start laying the groundwork now. I'm kinda hoping we can pull off a major cluster*squee!* storyline here.)
Raven readied herself and began to play. "You're a time traveler," said Asmo, "you've got infinite time."
"There's one in the sub-basement," Asmo replied. Dusty tilted his head, clearly confused. "How in Celestia's name do you know about that?" Asmo chuckled. "Bat Wonder told me!" "How does..." "She just does, Midget Horse, holy jeeze."
(Yeah, don't expect you to play catch up over 350 pages, so I'll say, my characters, Dusty, Azrael and Asmo are currently in the bar.)
Nova and Static sat in silence after Cricket left. After a while, Nova spoke up. "So, in the short time I've been here, I've watched you recommend psychological trauma as a form of therapy, I've seen my grandfilly appear from the future, and I just saw the planning stage of an organized assault on a mob boss's compound. Interesting place you have here, Skydust."
"Ten or whatever," Asmo answered Star. Dusty nodded. "Indeed it is. That's likely why traffic has been increasing."
