So, your thoughts? Personally, I thought it was somewhat decent and had some interesting developments. It's pretty cool to see a new (albeit quite annoying) griffon character as well. Also, on a weird note, Little Strongheart was proposed to return sometime this season, though that may have been jossed in favour of Gabby, who is also voiced by Erin Mathews (thus making this her first voice role since season one.). 6/10
I'mma feelzin' and'a squeein'!!! SO much heart and soul in this episode!! Sweet little song too!! Can't say enough about how cute Gabby is... and it absolutely positively has NOTHING to do with her feathered ponytail!! 9_9 OK, couldn't say that with a straight face. Anygoo, I give this episode an emphatic 10/10!!!
For anyone who's having trouble finding this episode on the internet... This episode was super good, much better than The Cart Before the Ponies. My only complaint is censoring ruining that opening gag. Actually, I take that back. The joke is still funny if you imagine them thinking she was going to be a murderous pirate.
This was a really great episode. Gabby was adorable. The song was good, too. It was kind of nice to see the CMC to be given a challenge. I bet Twilight would be disappointed that Gabby didn't actually earn her cutie mark. She seemed so excited about it... Overall, I give it a 8.5/10.
Thoughts below in spoilers as normal. Spoiler Not much to say honestly. First off, what's wrong with pirates? They're pretty cool in One Piece... Either way... Apparently there's a griffin that's actually nice. Not only that... but hyper. Like really hyper. Perhaps Gabby should consider decaf? Admittedly Gabby was pretty cute. But I can't say much else. It was somewhat disheartening to see the Crusaders actually technically fail. It was coming when Gabby succeeded at everything they had her do. Twilight's excitement at a research project was funny and disturbing all at the same time. There's literally nothing else I can really say. It was an okay episode I guess it just didn't have much else in it. Sorry I really don't know what else to say because there's not much too say I guess. Relatively okay episode but there wasn't much content that made me enjoy it as much as the last few episodes did.

Anyone else catch the fact that the parents of the filly were wrong. Archaeologists don't dig up dinosaur bones. She's a paleontologist.
