I'm guessing a new certificate was issued during the long downtime when they were moving hosts or something, and that certificate has yet to be verified. It's issued by Let's Encrypt though, so it's probably legit unless it's spoofed. And yeah, I meant before that. Not to mention the latest post on the forum list was still Blowy.
It may have been listed as his but when you opened up the topic for a little bit it was mine cause everyone else stopped posting.
I sent a message to Minter last night about it and he got back to me today saying it got fixed. So there should be no more problems with the thread. I'm sure everyone noticed they could post again today.
Indeed, it did. Who was that guy anyways? I'm assuming it's an older member that got banned a long time ago before I joined and has came back for revenge.
I see, I guess it was just someone messing around. It does take a lot of skill to do something like that.
Christ on a mother*squee!*ing cracker. I'm getting really sick of these *squee!*s messing with the site. Can't we just track their IPs, find their real names and addresses, go to their houses, and PEEL THE MOTHER*squee!*ING FLESH FROM THEIR BONES?
But... the thought of brutally torturing whoever's responsible for hacking the site DOES make me happy. Bad things should happen to bad people. It's only fair.
Everyone is thinking the guy was hacking but really it is just a common bug with xenforo, you silly goofs. The reason the site stopped all posts for a few seconds was because minter was rebuilding the thread cache.
I was confused too, until I googled, google makes me seems like a smart Although googles solution was to rebuild the thread cache to fix the problem. Real solution was to just delete the post, something I could have done but didn't even think of >.>
