Nightshade pulled Raven into a tight wing hug. "I'll only be gone a week, and I'll be back in time for your party. I promise."
"Love you too, Rave." She wiggled free of Raven's grip and planted a parting kiss on the Bat's muzzle. "Listen, while I'm gone, if anything happens... don't hesitate to call my dad. Or Marq, if you have any trouble with the record company." With one last parting glance, she boarded the train.
I'll be burying the cube then. (Goes to the edge of the forest, bends down, and activates the cube, targeting himself and Azrael to be thrown out of phase, setting a delay and tracking beacon traceable by his sword, and burying the cube a foot down). Ready Azrael?
Dark clouds were seen circling the Bar. Suddenly they merged and spiraled, a flash of green was seen before a shape flew though the clouds. Landing ontop of the bar, the clouds disappeared as soon as they appeared. Midnight had come. She glanced around before glaring at the sun, her old enemy. she moved several clouds blocking the sun from the pub. She then vanished in a swirl of shadows, she then moved from shadow to shadow until she spied some ponies. She would follow them at a distance, though there shadows. That would keep her safe from the sun.
Well Azrael, hope you are because we're going, NOW. *With a sharp twist of the world, everything became distorted, blurry, and grayscale for Azrael and Edmond, as the two were pulled out of phase. A great shining pillar lay to the North, in the Empire, the other Cube.*
Azrael looked down upon the unconscious pony. "Damn. What a shame." ~~~~~~~ "Oh, what the heck?" Making her way to the bar, Raven noticed there were clouds specifically designed to keep it dark. Pretty inconvenient to those who wanted a sunny day. She flew up and started pushing them out of the way.
Careful now. Time is out of step too. If we aren't cautious we could be messed up when we go back in phase.
True. But, having an ear or mouth for that matter, where you don't want one, won't be much fun if you know what I mean.
Well. (Pulls out two metal rods, and with a twist of one, it folds outwards into a bike like vehicle. Tosses the other to Azrael)
Midnight narrowed her eyes at this pony, did she want to burn her newest guest? What poor inn-keeping that was. She would teach her, the clouds suddenly became sticky and clung to the pony, several more clouds moved to replace the ones that had been moved away from the sun. Midnight finally came out from the buildings shadow and moved towards the Inn. She kicked the door open with her hoof and then trotted inside, as soon as she had entered the premises did the strange clouds disappear. Midnight then pulled the blinds in one corner of the room and pulled a bottle of wine out from under the bar. She tossed a black rock on the counter as payment. That was the standard currency in her own world, and it would suit for this one as well.
Windsor, who for the sake of those just joining us I will remind you is a sentient barstool, had done his very best to keep the presumptuous pony from helping herself. He had been unsuccessful. To make matters worse, she had paid with a rock. A rock! He picked up the offensive stone and stared at it. For all he knew, it could be valuable. Or could be worthless. He was a bartender, not a geologist. Finally, he signaled to Asmo, showing him the rock. It was possible that this new pony might be trouble.
"Hey! Ass!" Asmo stormed over. "First, don't kick the door open. Second, stay the *squee!* in front of the counter. Third, that's not Bits!" Raven fell to the ground with a loud crack after the clouds left.
