I don't know. (Warps his sword elsewhere, so she don't get hurt.) ((I guess it depends on if @MidnightShadow can kinda reign in the OPness...it makes me uncomfortable))
Silver made it to Canterlot in time to find a small army of Midnight's forces attempting to capture the princesses. Half their number had already fallen to the alicorns, and with Silver's arrival, the rest quickly followed their comrades to the grave. The scene repeated itself all over Equestria, as royalty and guards worked to nullify the shadow magic and defeat the invaders. Wherever it was the shadow ponies had come from, whatever power they held in their own world, it was no match for the might of the Equestrians. Princess Cadance and Prince Shining Armor in the Crystal Empire. Luna and Celestia in Canterlot. Princess Twilight and her friends in Ponyville. King Thorax in the Changeling kingdom. All led their forces into battle, and all quickly proved victorious. Any damage that Midnight had done, was soon undone. (Just a bit of cleanup for the sake of the story. And to explain why Silver didn't do what he would have logically done had I not come back to three pages in four hours.)
(I don't know how OP a filly can be XD) Midnight woke up and decided she was hungry, she trotted around the bar until she had found a bottle of milk. She glanced at the cap, which didn't come off. She blinked confused by the child safe lock. She dragged the bottle over to the odd ponies and blinked at them. She nudged the bottle closer to them, wanting them to open it for her. Several fleeing Shadow Ponies broke into the bar, and glanced at the Filly Midnight, "Not caring for that again" one of them snorted, before they all dived though the last Portal back into there world, the portal was then sealed off to stop against any repercussions of the invasion. (you coming back to the bar Silver? You can be on foal-sitting duties )
Silver returned a short time later, once he was sure the princesses were safe. The invaders were either dead or gone back home, so there was little to worry about. He walked in, his face dark and expressionless. "Midnight Shadow! Under the full authority of the Princesses of the Sun and Moon, you have been sentenced to death for your crimes against Equestria! Come forward and face judgement!"
Architect: The Council of Existence has judged her to remain this age, and to age far more slowly then others. She is allowed to remain alive, as long as she doesn't try to do anything like this again. I'm sure Etheran would agree, and we all know what Authority Etheran, Governor of Balance, holds.
Silver looked at him curiously. "I have to told you before, your precious Council has no authority here. And what is all this about 'remaining this age?' Where is..." He suddenly realized that the filly in the room looked very familiar. "Oh. I see. Damn it." He'd seen this before. A dark and irredeemable soul, returned to innocence, and given a second chance. An opportunity to atone for their crimes by living a good life and never turning back to evil. He sighed. It didn't matter. The order had been given, and it was his solemn duty to see it through. He drew his sword and approached the filly.
((REALLY? THIS IS ABSURD. This is exactly what happened last time. I'm getting sick of this. @Queen Cerali look at this. And if the Council has no power here, how did they appear to absorb Midnight's attacks?)) Arch: Those papers that were turned in were my citizenship papers. That were approved. (Stands in front of Midnight and blocks the sword) You kill me, you defy your own law. Wonder what the Princesses would say then?
Etheran sighed. "perhaps I could speak with Luna and Celestia about this?" they offered. "I'm sure they would understand Architect's decision, and getting their advice after updating them on the situation would be preferable to further conflict."
Give the princesses this Etheran, (Hands over a scroll that has 15 stamps each in a different colour on it.) The Council of Existence's reasoning behind the decision. The Princesses will know, that the Council isn't playing games anymore, like they used to do a few centuries back.
(Wow, bloody hell. Way to completely misinterpret the situation, Arch. And for *squee!*'s sake, remember that Equestria is ruled by the princesses. Arch and the Council are not, and never will be, in charge. Ever.) Silver shook his head. "I am no more pleased about this than you are, Architect, but I have a duty to see this through. I can not and will not defy the orders of the princesses." (Meaning that the only way Silver will change his mind is if the princesses order it. The NPC princesses who can be used by anyone. Do you maybe see where I'm going with this?)
Etheran shrugged and took the document, teleporting it to a pocket dimension, then turned back to Silver. "I will not ask you to defy their orders." the alicorn said. "I only request that you stay your hand for just a moment while we contact them and make sure their preferred course of action will not change based on this new circumstance, of which I believe they were unaware."
((Council *watches* over Existence, interceding when needed, they aren't in control of Equestria, but they do want to help solve the issues, without involving Death, anyways. We are gonna talk with Asmo, and the other ACTIVE participants before we continue, so...))
Silver nodded. "Fine. Thirty minutes. Please understand, though, that if the princesses do not change their minds, I will have no choice but to carry out the execution."
((We gotta wait for Asmo's input.)) Arch: (tears form in his eyes) I feel bad that, that timeline is the one that is most probable, at this moment. *A form detaches from Architect and flickers before vanishing, this was a flicker of the power of The Timestrider, the one who showed Architect the future that made Architect tear up.*
(okie dokie lokie then) Etheran closed their eyes, and their horn glowed. Mist gathered in front of them before forming into a large mirror, with an image of the sisters visible upon its surface. (simplest solution I could think of )
Selena: (walks in, with burns covering her and wisps of green magic slowly fixing them, and carrying a scroll for Silver from the Council stating "We never said we rule your world, we watch over it and help deal with threats that would destroy a majority of Existence. Kinda like how you and your Elements of Harmony are, you step in when something threatens your world, are we correct in assuming this? We have no interest in ruling your world, nor will we. And neither does Architect. If you understand, please write us a note and give it to The Architect. We sincerely hope this will alleviate any hostility against Architect and us, along with any confusion.") Hey Silver dude, some guy with some wicked looking Spikes handed this to me, and told me to give it to you.
(Okay, I really thought you'd be able to figure this out for yourself, but somehow, you haven't. So let me walk you through it. -Silver is loyal to the princesses. 100% loyal. He will do whatever they order him to do. -The princesses are N0n-Player Characters. NPCs. This means that anyone can control them in this RP. What this means is that anyone can, via one of the princesses, tell Silver what to do. And not just Silver! Any Guard character! So instead of *squee!*ing endlessly about what Silver does, next time, take control of one of the princesses and change it. For *squee!*'s sake, this option has been there since the beginning. How nobody has realized this baffles me.) ______________________________________________________________ Silver read the note and looked at the clock. Twenty minutes had passed. He wasn't looking forward to slaying a filly, but he had his orders. Unless he heard from the princesses in the next ten minutes, he'd have no choice but to execute Midnight. (Now, for *squee!*'s sake, TAKE THE HINT.)
