There's your problem. US mainstream media is essentially biased propaganda. It should be taken with half a grain of salt. Especially CNN and FOX.
It looks like there is now a right-wing backlash over Trump backpedaling on the campaign point of jailing Hillary Clinton: http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-38072846
Hitler only hated Jew's because he was refused piano lessons due to him not being Jewish. All you need now is mexico to not pay trump for the wall, then he can kill *squee!* loads of Mexicans to make the wall with there corpses.
The racist groupings emboldened by Trump can't even prevent their Confederate battle flags or monuments from being removed. Mass scale pogroms against by Hispanics by them would be far beyond their capabilities. Given mass anti-war sentiment resulting from US defeats in Iraq and Afghanistan, it isn't going to be feasible to start a war with Mexico over a wall. Besides, the wall was a "campaign device" employed by Trump, and he has backpedaled from it. Donald Trump is a weak candidate that didn't even win the popular vote in this election that already had low turnout. His presidency is destined to be a farce, and we can't rule out him being impeached before his first term ends.
A little off topic, but I would like to say how much it annoys me that the ONLY mainstream conservative news source is so unreliable. I'd go so far as to say that media bias on both sides of the fence has played a huge role in deepening the divide between right and left.
Does anyone actually believe that he was going to go through with what he promised? Seriously? He was campaigning. He sold you snake oil. He told you what he wanted to hear. He is going to do whatever makes him the most profit. He does not care about you. He does not care about me. He cares about his money and how he can make more of it for himself. Let me know when that nearby factory that closed down reopens. I'll hold my breath... I'm just pissed that people are trying to make everyone else drink the same snake oil you bought too. Smoke and mirrors. Look at his selected appointees so far. That's not clearing the swamp, it's just a different flavor of the same old crap.
How, exactly, does giving up his celebrity billionaire lifestyle in exchange for the stresses and responsibilities of running a country benefit him, much less make him a profit?
Giving it up? Bwahahahahahahhahahahaha! http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_slat...sident_can_t_have_a_conflict_of_interest.html He's not giving it up. He's saying, screw you, I'm president, I do what I want. Also, this is still relevant today,
The article is also saying that he's phasing out his role in his company and giving it to his kids. Of course, this is a Slate article, so everything Trump said is presented as a lie. Seriously, though, why the actual F*CK are you people so keen on seeing this man fail?
It's not that I (we) want Trump to fail. But SHOW ME that you mean what you say. What he said is VERY different than what he is showing us. Trust is earned, not given. He has not earned my trust and by what he has shown by his chosen appointees and his choice in how he has conducted himself so far, I am VERY wary of how he will conduct himself as president. To hell with his Kool-Aid. I will go thirsty.
It's not that we WANT him to fail, it's that we THINK he will fail. Now, believe me, if Trump could somehow prove me wrong, then I'd be happy as hell. But to do that, he has a lot going against him.
