Navaja gave a whistle. "Dios mio. Now that is transportation." Azrael nodded. "Imagine the long lost goods we could fit."
(Architect, seeing the flare denoting his destination, and noticing the old fashioned appearance of his Zeppelin, decides to give it a makeover.) *With a whirl of his Pen the ship deconstructs and reconstructs with a much more modern look, on the inside it was larger and could hold a few hundred passengers, with an onboard casino, movie theater, stores, lounges, and three pools. With delegated lounges based on ticket class, although all were open to every passenger on Arch's new airship. The old Zeppelin's design was stored in the Transmogrification Motus Matrix, so if Architect or any other authorized pilot wished to change the ship, they could. All the technology was updated as well, instead of a propeller and giant gas balloon, it was now propelled by a series of much quieter rotors, and held aloft by a series of larger rotors, and a system of small but buoyant gas balloons, in case of failure of one system, there was the other. In addition to all this, in the aft of the ship, smaller airships could dock in the main ship, and they could act as propulsion in event of Propulsion System failure. Of course this meant the new ship was much larger than the old Zeppelin was, but to compensate for any energy deficiency, the ship was powered mainly by a form of fusion, of chlorophytic serums mixed with photonic infusion combined with a powerful acid providing the energy needed. A large amount of material was needed to build this ship, as could be expected, so Architect borrowed it from a Timeline that had already died, so no harm would be done by using it. The new ship was mainly meant for entertainment over practicality, but had a few tricks up its sleeve.* (Architect began piloting the new ship towards the Flare, into a rapidly growing Gate into Equestria.)
Midnight nodded and blinked "While you do that, i'm going to sleep on you" she remarked. She then began to regenerate her lost energy from the long days activities. Draining colour from her surroundings in the process, well at least Silver no longer looked old. (Air Ship RIDE!!!!)
*With the clatter of the rotors, Architect's new ship emerges in the sky and the Flare vanishes.* (Setting it to hover and then dashing down a ladder and down through the casino, past two of the lounges and clubs, and throwing another ladder down to the ground. Hurrying down it and racing to the bar, bursting through the door fifteen minutes after he had left the control room.)
(If anyone else wants to stick a character into the Old Country storyline, we can discuss it in the OOC chat. I've got something kinda massive planned for that.) ************************************************************************************************ Silver noted the discoloration, but said nothing. He'd have to look into a solution to the problem in the morning. Once the princess was safely home in bed, he flew with Midnight to his own Canterlot mansion. ******************************************************************************* Nightshade nodded. "The first priority is the samples. The contract's airtight. If we come home with treasure, but don't have at least half of the plants, the sponsor recoups the cost of the expedition out of our loot." "Which is, of course, an undesirable outcome," said a voice from behind them. The voice belonged to a rather large griffon, who was carefully sharpening his talons. "Nightshade, who is this you bring with you, eh? If you needed male companionship so badly, you needed only ask Gaston." Nightshade snorted. "Never gonna happen, ass."
Navaja chuckled. "I think the chica enjoys equine male company." Azrael groaned. "Shut up, Assassin. Say, Gaston. Your name seems familiar. Have we met?"
"I should think you would remember meeting the great Gast--OOF!" Gaston was shoved aside by another griffon who looked quite a bit like him. "Please ignore my brother. As you can see, he is an idiot." "Galahad!" Nightshade hugged the new griffon. "Glad you made it. I'd heard you got arrested in Appleloosa." "A misunderstanding. Rather irritating, as they allowed my bounty to escape." "This trip should make up for that." "Of course. Where are my manners? I see you have brought friends!" Galahad turned to Navaja and Az. "Good evening. It is always a pleasure to meet friends of Nightshade. I am Galahad, and you have already met my brother, Gaston."
"We should speak to the Captain," Galahad said after introductions were complete. "He will need to know that we have two more on the crew."
Nightshade walked up the gangplank and looked around. "Hey! Captain! Where're you at?!" Cannonball Run popped his head up from a hatch. "Over here, Shady. Bring your friends down below, we'll get them squared away." *************************************************************** Silver entered the mansion and passed Midnight off to one of the maids, who put the filly to bed in one of the guest rooms.
Midnight slept in the large bed, while she did that she cast her sub conscious out into Equestria. She saw several ponies getting off a train and into a Airship, Architect was there as well. She snorted, he was joy riding rather then taking care of her, well she would see about that. She followed the ponies, before deciding to go find Architect. He was piloting the airship, She sat down on the controls and frowned at him "Forgetting Somthing?" she protecting to him, she wanted to go on a cruse, "Come pick my body up along with Silver" she ordered, and it was hard to ignore her orders. She then vanished and made her way back to her body.
(Architect, seeing the flare denoting his destination, and noticing the old fashioned appearance of his Zeppelin, decides to give it a makeover.) His Zeppelin, so he must be piloting it,
Cannonball grinned. "Who else?" Nightshade nodded. "Actor, director, politician, mercenary, and former Night Guard. The sponsor practically begged him to lead the expedition."
