I've never been very good at writing any kind of even moderately romantic scene, so lately I've started playing those dating sim/visual novel things to try to pick up a few things. I think it's actually working. My writing's still a bit awkward, but I've noticed a drastic improvement over what it used to be.
Not quite, Poppbot. ...Er, Popplio. ---I mean, Lio. Gah, too many names! I should hope so. The last thing I need right now is a seal with vengeance on its mind. I mean, come on---I chose him as my Sun starter, what more does he want?!
Okay, so basically, an EP civil war would involve all of us choosing sides. Again, it'd have to be something that won't cause actual arguments, like maybe cats vs dogs. We'd all get one of those little banners under our names to show which side we're on. Then we'd set up a points system, where we'd earn points by posting (+1 per post), starting threads (+10 per page), or bringing in new members to the site (+100 for confirmed recruitment after the new member reaches twenty posts). Points would be totaled on both team and individual levels, with the winning team and the 'MVP' receiving a new banner under their name noting their victory. Obviously, this is just a concept, but I do think something like this could do some good for the site.
Yeah, I know, I know. Come on, I had to channel my inner Callista sometime. >^_^< As well as generating a mountain of laughs. Sounds like fun.
Today I learned that one should not go to the Chinese restaurant when the employees are having lunch if one expects to eat in peace. Apparently, noisy eating (slurping, smacking lips, etc) is common in China, and is considered good manners. Everyone there was nice, and obviously I wasn't going to complain about the noise, but it was still a little distracting.
@Rockout E. Stringer - You're a couple hours from Charlotte, right? Guess who just announced a tour? http://98rock.iheart.com/onair/big-rig-32040/iron-maiden-announces-north-american-tour-15483882/
A note from Roger: The resistance begins today. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=1300753293301806 Pink Floyd still relevant as always.
Resistance? What, exactly, are you people resisting? The lawful election of a U.S. President? For *squee!*'s sake, stop pretending that any of this is noble or just. You didn't get your way, and now you're all throwing a goddamn tantrum. That's what toddlers do.
A cursory glance at the mountains of evidence posted in the Trump thread is all that is needed to show that this is about opposing reactionary policies directed against a president with no mandate whatsoever. Writing off such a thing as a "tantrum" only serves as an act of evasion (Trump would have also derided the election as "rigged" if he lost). Not to mention that all sorts of rotten regimes were lawfully in place when people moved against them, including the British one that ruled over the colonies that became the United States.
Not only did I not bother to read what you wrote, I'm going to respond with an image of an ape scratching himself.
They're finally doing a Mandalorian arc on Rebels. I've been waiting for this since they introduced Sabine. Really looking forward to it.
