"Si, nothing like drinking the smelly blood of battle brothers..." Navaja closed his eyes and knocked back the brew, gagging a little as it slid down his throat. "Eugh... If I die, I prefer a natural burial to being stuffed with formaldehyde."
"If you die I'm going to feed you to my dogs," Rose replied conversationally. "No point in wasting good meat." By this time, Galahad had choked down his own potion. Rose pulled a quill from the screeching wraith and pricked the griffon's claw. Instantly, ice began to spread... and then quickly receded. "Good. I was hoping that would work."
"Amazing..." Navaja observed the ice receding in awe. "We need to get this recipe to other alchemists. In case others decide to come this way." "How did you get that done so quickly?" Azrael asked. ~~~~~~~~~ "J͟Ù̡M͜P҉͜͝ ͟͞T̨͘H̕͘E͏҉ B̷U͏C͜҉K҉̢̛ ̷̵͢Ų̛P!̷̀" Raven strummed out an intentionally very obnoxious string of Es, simulating every core breakdown ever.
(Listening to the music, that is resonating through the bar, whilst waiting for any response from his main manifestation or the Council.)
The cacophonous music filled his eardrums, causing him to internally wince. "Sweet Luna!" he exclaimed. "It's like listening to a garbage disposal!"
(Hearing Blackened's remark and smirking slightly, before he closes his eyes and carefully sits down into thin air and hovers about 2 inches above the floor, with the sword of Harmony spinning and orbiting him slowly. He looks to not be paying attention to much, but has started listening for the Council, and for any sign of the Entity's awakening.)
Raven chuckled, switching over to the breakdown-ish segment from the war song they had worked on before. "Much better, right?"
Rather than discomfort him, he was compelled to headbang. "Much better!" He then started headbanging in time with the song.
"I totally am!" Whatever Raven was doing, she was doing it right for an acoustic breakdown to sound decent.
"I had a working theory before we left," Rose replied, "So I brought some premixes with me. It was just a matter of finding the right catalyst, and the diluted dragonfire essence seems to work perfectly." The little vampire had been mixing potions for very long time, and she was very good at it. Nightshade nodded. "Glad it worked. You can treat the others when we get back. Those things are dangerous enough without poison."
Of course she was. Shortly, Rave stopped playing, set her guitar aside, and pulled a grey potion from under the counter. She popped the cork out with her teeth and quickly swigged it down, setting the empty bottle down on the bar. ~~~~~~~~~~ "I wish we had this back before I tore Olga's limb from her body," Azrael commented dryly.
((Couple of questions. One, where did Maya and co go? Two, we still gonna do the whole sidequest thing?))
(That all kinda got left behind. As I said, they're taking care of Moondust.) Raven nodded. "Yeah, but she made it special for me a couple years ago."
((Well have fun)) (Hearing a faint call from the Council, opens his eyes, glowing gold, and vanishes) *The shadow creature unfreezes and escapes. Whilst the sword of Harmony seems to dim and clatters to the floor.*
