"Ship..." Raven pointed to the falling station. "Dock." With that, the orb shot closer to the station, and released a strong magnetic held them nearby. Conveniently, they were right by an entrance. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Maya shrugged. "Sounds like he wants a little privacy, dude."
He looked at the screen, which showed their current location. "Think this is it!" he said, starting to get up and head out.
Even so, I'm a little worried. Grand-dads friends won't tell me anything except for that there might be trouble, and I can't even go to my house. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *The Research Vessel's automatic docking procedures seemed to begin, before they failed too, requiring manual opening of the hatches to enter.*
"Hold up." Raven looked forward. "Uh. Ship. Call that big-ass space station." With that, the ship attempted to hail the space station it was magnetically latched to.
Possibly. If the powerful dude that went to help him is the same powerful dude that I'm thinking of, then grand-dad needs a lot of help. *"Hello? Who is this? How did you get this frequency?" It sounds a lot better as it is a short range frequency being used, and not being pumped through an atmosphere with bit-crushingly low power, and the vocal pattern might be recognized as Edmond's.*
"Eddy?" Raven tilted her head. "Been a minute. We're here to get as many of you off that thing as we can before it crashes. Hopefully, we can fit you all." ~~~~~~~~ Maya sighed. "Great. If only we knew a little more..."
Raven nodded. "Yeah, make sure the airlock works right. Rather us not get smacked out and smack our helmets on the station."
"Got it." Following Raven's instructions, Black looked at a panel which displayed buttons for the main door and airlock. The airlock label was lit up, implying that it was functioning. Next to it was a larger button that read "Door", which he promptly pressed.
The innermost door slid open. "Alright, Ed, we're coming in. Look for the big, white sphere that wasn't there before, and get ready to get the buck outta there." Raven stood up and walked inside the airlock. She gave a little chuckle. "Holy crow, this is awesome."
As the door opened, he trotted over to it alongside Raven, before following her through the airlock. "Too right," he responded, moving across it.
The airlock closed around them, and began decompressing. After a moment, the artificial gravity left them, and they started floating. Raven giggled. "Awesome." Instructions flashed across their visors, detailing how to move around in a vacuum with the little jets in the backs of their suits.
"Whoaaaa...~" he exclaimed, floating across the airlock. The instructions seemed simple enough, and he soon was able to manuver in the anti-gravitational field with little issues. "Yeah, this is awesome!"
"Let's do this!" She opened the door into space and flew her way up to the door to the station, stopping only to admire the view of the planet. "Whoa..."
Black followed suit, admiring the impossibly beautiful view. "Wow..." he remarked, equally intrigued by the sight.
"I can see why ponies take this job..." As she viewed, she noticed the suit was attempting to send a signal to open up the door. While they waited for a response to the signal from within the ship, she started to laugh. "We're falling into a planet... My heart hasn't pumped like this in weeks!"
He continued to float about. "This s*yay!* is crazy! Never thought I'd do something like this before!"
