Edmond: (ducks into an empty office and then returns with his cube.) Here we are. Everyone was carrying their cubes. ---------- Rep: Alright. I'll let you retrieve the blade then.
*The two techs had managed to wedge the doors open and were filling the rescue ship with the cubes. Everyone else was sitting in the back strapping in using specialized harnesses that adhere to the wall and floor when they sit down on the floor.* ---------------- Selena: (sits down at the bar) Can I get a soda with a shot of whatever that is kinda weak?
(Aww, now we've gotta wait for Blackened...) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Sure thing, dude." Maya poured her a glass of soda, throwing in a half-shot of whiskey. "Here, threw in a tiny amount of whiskey, shouldn't be too hard on you."
All the while, Blackened had been standing by Raven's side in case she needed him as well. He was able to control the door using his visor if need be.
Raven exited the station with Blacky, wondering how much closer before the station started to burn up in the atmosphere. "See anything worth keeping in there?"
Edmond: Nope. We put everything worth saving into the storage cubes and then into the crates. Short of tearing the ship apart, there isn't anything left.
"Alright good." Once everyone was good and on, Raven sat back down in her chair and ordered the ship to slowly back away from the station.
Blackened stayed alongside and sat back down in the same seat, pressing the button to close the door once everypony boarded.
*As the smaller ship moved away.* Edmond: Might not be a good time to mention this but the ship is still falling. We shut off the engines but they may rupture if and when the ship hits the planet. If that happens, it'll create a boom visible from space. Have this ship snap off the biggest antenna from the research ship and magnetize it to the hull please?
"Worst timing. But on it! Computer?" The ship proceeded to rap into the antenna in question, snapping it right off.
Edmond: yes. How else can we weld that antenna to this ship and then use it to broadcast a signal to either neutralize the engines or contact someone to stop the ship from falling into your planet?
Silver tossed Rep the blade, then walked over and snatched Discord out of Az's mouth. "Do not. He will make camp in your gut and will not leave for a week. And he will say inappropriate things in your voice. Frequently." Discord sulked. "Spoilsport." *********************************************************************** Static did not take the news of Nova's death well. By the time she left, everything within half a mile of the couple's home was burning. She made a mental note to call somepony to put out the blaze, then winged for Ponyville. She needed to speak to Princess Twilight's student.
Edmond: I won't. (Exits the ship and looks at the planet while welding the antenna to the ship. Over radio) "You know your planet has giant cracks in its Northern Polar region, right?" ----------------- Rep: (Grabbing the blade and it lights up.) Thank you.
