((Twas rep who asked for the stuff.) Edmond : (Reaches over to the controls and wires his sword into them and begins transmitting a neutralization frequency so the engines won't destroy the planet. ) There. The research ship won't destroy the whole planet but will definitely damage whatever made those cracks.
Edmond: thank you for helping us. In fact I'm actually surprised that you were able to pick up the signal if I'm being honest.
Raven shrugged. "Got a good radio at the bar. Speaking of, we've gotta tell Maya what we saw." She took off the suit as they approached the bar.
Silver shrugged. "Acceptable odds." ******************************************************************************************************* -TWENTY YEARS EARLIER- Nightshade flew out of the portal, her pack full of notes, samples, and a small fortune in bits. It took her almost a week to track down Maya, who was at that point on vacation in Saddle Arabia. Finally, in a small hookah bar, she found the pony she was looking for. "Hello, Maya. I need your help."
Azrael nodded. "Indeed. I'll need to get to Hollow Shades for this. And preferably fast." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Past Maya was sitting with Past Skydust across from a group of Saddle Arabians they had met, taking her turn on the hookah. Dusty, who at that time had a full mane hanging down the left side of his head, turned to look strangely at Nightshade. "Maya? Do you happen to know this pony?" Maya turned to study her, slowly letting out a cloud of smoke. "Uhh... Nope, totally don't. Whaddya need my help with, pegasister?"
Silver nodded. "Blackout, if you would?" Blackout placed his hoof on Az's shoulder and lit his horn. An instant later, they were in Hollow Shades. **************************************************************************************** Nightshade set her pack on the table. "I need you to help save the world." She quickly explained that she had come from the future, and about the coming of Apophis, and about the venom of the ice wraiths. "We were unprepared. But I want to fix that. This bag contains everything you'd need to mass-produce the vaccine. Notes. Samples. Money for supplies and production costs. And if you need more bits, I have a list of the winners of every hoofball championship for the next twenty years."
"Perfect..." Azrael wasted no time making his way to the cemetery. ~~~~~~~~~~~ "That's... a lotta responsibility," Maya said under her breath, beginning to go through the notes. "How many did you say we needed?" The Arabian equines asked Skydust what was happening in their tongue, which he was able to answer with a near-fluent response.
Rep: (Stands up looking concerned) something's extremely wrong. ----------------------- Selena: (drinks it) Can you put that on grand-dad's bill? I got no cash on me. And can I get something to eat?
"I'd rather just pay for it myself," Present Maya replied. Raven ran into the bar. "Hey, Mom? You know anything about a... a big snake at the north pole?" Maya's expression suddenly became extremely serious. "Buck. Rave, I need you to go to the sub-basement. In there, you'll find a big, red button. Press it." "What..." "Just do it." Maya hopped out from behind the counter. Raven nodded, disappearing down into the basement.
Silver glanced at Rep. "What is it?" ********************************************** Blackout, having nothing better to do, followed Az. ********************************************** Nightshade made a few mental calculations. "About one million two milliliter doses. Shelf stable."
Rep: Three possibilities. One, Discord has a stomachache and has just burped. Two, something to do with Time. Or three, Snake dude in the north is about to have something very heavy fall on him. Or some combination of the three.
Past Maya nodded. "Twenty years? I think I can do that." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Outside the present bar, as Raven pressed the button, the ground slowly opened up on either side, giving way to two massive catapults, able to fling large items miles away. Inside, the bar counter itself disappeared into the floor, and was quickly replaced with a long potion dispenser, filled entirely with the ice wraith antidote. Asmo opened an eye on the wall for the purpose of looking around, astonished. "What the buck's going on?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ At the cemetery, Azrael knelt down by a grave marked with nothing but a stick. "I'm about to bring back a revenant, at full power. And not feel good about it. Stay back about twenty feet. I'll be engulfed in a magic explosion that I can survive, but you may not."
Rep: Then you're excused. ((Nice one Ridley.)) ------------------------- Selena: Snake? North pole? Snakes can't live in that kind of cold, can they?
"This one can," Maya said, hurrying into the kitchen and flipping another switch that encased the outside of the bar in armor. 'I've gotta get Dusty here, and somepony has to get Moondust somewhere safe."
Selena: Oh. That's weird. (Looks around the changing bar.) I'm a bit confused...and a little bored....hmm...(pulls out a small notepad and doodles in it, drawing a picture of a guitar.)
"We're gonna be attacked by a snake god," Maya said. Raven caught only that, climbing out from the basement. "Hold up, what?" "That sounds kinda badass," Asmo commented. Raven snickered. "Yeah, it kinda does. huh?"
*Selena's pad starts glowing after a little while and a guitar appears as the paper with the drawing burns up* Selena: Hey! The birthday present grand-dad's friend gave me still works! Anyone want anything real quick?
