Rain shrugged. "How hard could somepony like that be to find?" She jumped onto a large crate, and looked around. "OY! BLUE ALICORN! WHERE?!" Several ponies pointed to the command tent, and Rain hopped down. "That way."
"Effective." Navaja walked over, entering the tent. As they entered, Dusty turned to them, arching an eyebrow. "Good to see you made it out alive. But I do not think you should be entering this tent without permission." Maya nodded. "Yeah, but the rules broke a while ago. Who's your friend? She's kinda cute." ~~~~~~~~~~~ Azrael found his way over to the Princesses, watching them fence. "Remember not to forget about using the rest of your bodies in combat just because you have a sword, especially if you decide to wield with magic."
"Her name is Rain Storm," Nightshade said. "And I'm wondering why she's here and not in the damn hospital like she's supposed to be." Rain snorted. "And I'm wondering where you got your medical degree. Mine came from Canterlot University, and I say I'm fine." ************************************************************************************************** Luna responded to Azreal's advice by tackling her sister. Silver sighed. "Do you see what you did?"
"Maya Heartstrings." She smiled warmly and held out her hoof. "Skydust." Dusty's horn glowed for a brief moment. "I see Rain has a damaged horn, and Navaja has a severe concussion. I'd have recommended having me come to you, but you're the doctor." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Azrael nodded. "I gave a tip."
Rain nodded, removing the wrappings of the horn. A deep crack ran from tip to base, spiderwebbing out into dozens of hairline fractures. "I've already seen it. I know how bad it is. Is there anything you can do to help?" She hung her head. "Please. These things... they killed my baby brother. I can't sit this one out." ******************************************************* Silver sighed. "The rivalry between the sisters is strong. They have gotten past the worst of it, but I fear it sometimes..." He ducked as a stray energy blast shot past where his head had been a second before and ignited the rear wall of the tent. "...distracts them."
Maya jumped as the energy blast blew past, obviously startled. "Uhh..." Navaja flinched. "What the..." Dusty sighed, using a magic orb to cut off the oxygen to the fire and snuff it. "Yes. Yes, we can. We'll need to combine Maya's healing brew with my magic, but that is able to be fixed." ~~~~~~~~ Azrael shrugged. "If they fight with each other like this, imagine what they'll do to those ice demons."
Rain's face lit up. "Wonderful! You have no idea how hard it is to not be able to use magic." ************************************************************************************ Silver nodded. "The princesses may not look it, but they are extraordinarily capable fighters. Power far beyond any normal pony." He glanced over at the princesses and his eyes grew wide. "Pardon me." Silver dove between the princesses just as they were about to skewer each other. Luna's blade caught him in the shoulder, nearly severing his leg. Celestia's sword was driven completely through his neck and out the other side. "Dammit," he gurgled through the blood in his throat. "You must not take things so far!"
Azrael's eyes widened, and he hurried over to him. "Silver, I think a shove would have sufficed." ~~~~~~~~ Maya handed over a small, red healing potion. "Drink this. It tastes like cherries, and it'll start the healing right away. Dulls the pain, too."
The princesses sheepishly removed their swords from Silver's body, and backed away. Silver shrugged, reaching into his bag for a healing potion. "It is not my place to shove a princess." He downed the potion, and his wounds rapidly healed. "Besides, I have taken much worse." *************************************************************************** Rain did as she was told, and the potion began to take effect.
"And now..." Dusty surrounded her horn with magic, setting the pieces, forcing the cracked sections back together, and mending them. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "If you say so. Are you positive you won't bleed out from a sword to the throat?"
"I am hard to kill," Silver replied. "I will be fine." ********************************************* Rain tested her restored horn by aiming a powerful healing spell at Navaja.
"So am I..." Azrael thought for a moment. "We should have a duel." ~~~~~~~~ Navaja winced briefly, then let out a relieved sigh. "...I think it worked."
RepCoun: We're on our way in. Rep: (Shakes his head as the Council stops speaking through him.) *The fifteen Council members appear in the tent, clearly there and observable but the tent is as spacious as it was when it was first pitched.*
"Reppy!~" Maya walked over to greet him. "Nice to see your friends showed up, too! Gonna be a heck of a battle, but I think we got this if we all work together."
He slowly got up. "How else will we determine a winner?" he responded, some light snark showing in his voice.
Rep: Hello Maya. Nice to see you too. I know we got this. The Council brought a little help too. And they are gonna help a little bit now. Might not do much, but it should do something. *The Council members nod in unison* *Far in the North, above Apophis, the research vessel falls from the sky at an increasing rate of speed, whilst glowing with an ethereal energy that wasn't present before the Council had nodded. This made it seem as though a star was falling from the sky.*
