Nightshade groaned. "Son of a... sorry. Just... sorry." ************************************************************************* Moonshine carefully wrapped the fiber into the shape of an infinity symbol, then pressed it into the mold and poured on the resin. "You... uh... yeah, you just keep thinking that." ********************************************************************* "For Faust's sake, girl, don't be so vague! What were you hearing in there?"
RepM: Let me guess, it had something to do with, (says something directly to her mind, so it won't be described.) Or am I mistaken in that guess? Selena: (sniffles) they went upstairs, and I didn't think we'd hear anything..
*A figure appears in the bar, feminine in shape but hard to distinguish* Figure: I don't know Dusty. But I intend to find out. RepB: (nods respectively to the figure) Welcome. Selena: (shakes her head again) Reminded me of bad times.
"Ah, right. I hope you can help." Maya walked up to Selena, speaking sweetly. "What's the matter, hon?"
Selena: What I heard, it reminded me of some bad things... I don't want to talk about it. Figure: After I figure out why I have my granddaughter's notebook. I intend to have my team run constant healing and shielding, while the Council you know fights the snake.
Selena: (getting up slowly and whispering to Maya so only she would hear. As she does so, she starts tearing up)
"I'm sorry, hon..." Maya lightly, slowly embraced her. "That sounds... that sounds pretty rough. I'm sorry."
Selena: ((till future notice)) (Slowly, carefully hugs back, especially trying not to mess up Maya's feathers, while starting to cry)
Since Maya and Dusty seemed pre-occupied with their own things, Blackened moved to the counter, where Windsor stood. "Hey Windsor," he called out to him. "How's about a Jagerbomb?" Windsor gave an affirmative jig, before creating the drink in a matter of seconds. "Thanks," Black said as it was passed over to him.
Moonshine nodded. "Yep. Sounds about right." She opened the mold and removed a hardened piece of transparent resin in the shape of a gem, with the orb fiber encased within. "Now let's see if this works." She dug an armored boot out of a chest and placed the new gem into its enchantment slot, then pulled it on, and stomped the ground experimentally. The resulting impact cracked the ground and created a shockwave that sent Moonshine flying through the roof of the tent and into a crowd of startled ponies outside. ********************************************************************************** With the crying girl being dealt with by somepony far better at it than her, Cricket headed for the door just as Blackout walked up. The two went in together. ************************************************************************************* Nightshade sighed. "Raven, I think maybe my place next time."
He downed the drink in one gulp and turned over. "Oh, hey there," he said to RepB, who he hadn't seen before.
RepM: Projecting a healing field around Moonshine) You ok there? And if you think that is powerful try an entire set of armor with the fibers. Or even more so, a set made entirely of them.
Moonshine pulled the boot off and climbed back on her hooves. "I'm fine. You can't make an omelette without crackin' a few eggs, right?" Picking up the boot, she headed back into her tent and pulled out the fiber gem. "I think I'll just stick with this setup for now. Not sure a pony body could handle anything more powerful."
Raven nodded. "Yeah, your place. Or like... a cloud." Dusty floated them both a piece of chocolate cake. "Here. You two should sit down. Nightshade, maybe you can buy her that drink now."
