    For those of you who don't know what LaserDisc is, imagine a double-sided DVD the size of a vinyl record, with one half of the movie on each side.

    Well, it obviously isn't superior to Blu-Ray, but oddly enough, if the film is transferred onto the disc in the right way, the picture quality on a LaserDisc can sometimes be BETTER than DVD; because video has to be compressed for a DVD, but not for LaserDisc! Weird, huh?
