As the show went on, the band seemed to not hold back, putting in as much energy as they could, even with the occasional pyrotechnic blast. Not even the crowd wanted the show to end.
The prince gritted his teeth. "Of... course. Accidents happen. We of noble blood cannot hold the lower classes to the same standards to which we hold ourselves." "Holy *squee!* he's making this easy," Nightshade-disguised-as-Lyra whispered.
RepB: (placing a high functioning glamour over himself, appearing as a Pegasus, with same coloration as Arch, but with a silvery mane instead and noticeably smaller, and materializing in the bar)
Dusty motioned to Rep. "Convenient disguise, eh? I've heard stories of Blueblood really enjoying time with bipeds." Asmo's eye visibly twitched. "Yep! Us poor ponies sure are simple." It didn't exactly take long for Maya to catch on. Making her way behind the counter, she said sweetly, "Hey there, fancy dude. May I recommend one of my famous veggie burgers, with a delicious Apple Acres cider?" ~~~~~~~~~ Azrael cracked a smile. "Heh. This is the best idea we've had all night."
The prince's nose wrinkled. "Peasant food? I think not. I would like a bottle of Chateau de Griffonstone. On my aunt's tab, of course." Nightshade suppressed a wicked smile. Not only had the prince just snubbed good classic Equestrian fare, he had ordered a bottle of very expensive wine on the taxpayer's bit.
"Well, first drink is always free," Maya informed, pulling up a bottle of wine. "But we, uh. Kinda have a new policy. No putting stuff on a Princess's tab, helps keep taxpayers from buying rich ponies booze." ~~~~~~~~~~ "Buck it. Blackened. Shall we start a pit?"
He looked around and saw they were close to a moderately-sized pit. "Think we've got some competition," he remarked as he pointed to it.
Maya's clear disapproval flustered the prince. Ponies simply did not speak to him like that! But, she had given him what he'd asked for, so... "Th... thank you, barkeep. That will be all." As soon as she was out of earshot, however, he frowned. "How dare she? It is my right as prince to do as I please! These commoners should be thrilled I choose to grace them with my presence at all! That lowly, uncouth, classless..." The word that the prince chose to use to describe Maya is, in Equestria, widely considered one of the foulest things a stallion could call a mare. It was crude, sexist, hateful, and to many, unforgivable. When the video was released, it caused public opinion of the prince to freefall into a territory between disgust and hatred. He would, at least for a time, become a social pariah, and would even find his royal allowance cut off by an enraged Celestia. But we're getting ahead of ourselves. *************************************************************************** Nightshade's eyes widened. "What. The *squee!*." Blackout covered the Guard emblem on his armor. Whatever came next, he would not protect the prince from it.
Raven caught all of it. Every single word. Bat pony, and all. She snapped, Aw, HELL NO!" Then, storming up to him, "What'd you just say about my mom, Blueballs? Wanna say that again, you prissy little b***h?" Asmo cringed. "Don't kill him, Asmodeus, you're here to help show his true colors..." Dusty smirked. "And there goes his mass love."
Nightshade dropped her disguise. "Oh, I've seen his true colors." Blueblood jumped out of his seat and backed up. "N-Nightshade! You know you're not allowed to come near me!" She snarled. "I could think of a few colors for you, Your Highness. The yellow of your belly. The gold of all the unearned bits you throw around. But I think my favorite color of yours is the one I got to see that day in the throne room. The day you pushed just a little too far. The day that cost me EVERYTHING! I remember it, oh so very well. Streaming from your face as you wept. Falling on the floor as you screamed for my arrest and execution." Her face twisted into a sadistic grin as she grabbed the prince by the throat. "BLOOD RED!"
Dusty dropped the perception filter from the camera and pointed to it. "Look there, your highness. Do your aunties know how you treat your fellow ponies?" Raven bared her fangs. "Make a move for that camera, and I'll rip your carotid all the way out. You don't get to talk about my family like that. Say bye bye to your reputation."
Cricket walked over and turned off the camera. "Actually, I think maybe we'll just edit that last bit out. Just show what he said and cut tape, hmm? No need to show Shady committing felony assault on a member of the royal family. Or show my husband letting her do it." Blueblood, still in Nightshade's grasp, shook his head in horror. "No... you cannot... I am the prince, dammit! I am better than all of you!"
"What, you think you're better than me 'cause I'm a half-pony?" Asmo asked, trotting over. "What, are you racist or something?" "You, you stuck-up..." Raven took a deep breath. "Babe. Uncover his neck for me?"
Nightshade, ever the cooperative one, tossed the prince to the floor, then quickly jerked him back up by his mane. With his mane in her grasp, his neck was exposed to whatever Raven was planning.
Raven, in the blink of an eye, latched her jaw onto Blueblood's neck, sinking her fangs and sucking out a large amount of blood. She then pulled her fangs out and spit all the red liquid back at his face, in a Triple H-esque spray.
The prince screamed, blood running down his face. He continued screaming as Nightshade kicked several of his teeth out, then tossed him in Asmo's direction.
