So, next week, we get a new episode! You know, considering LostSanity and his whole "HORRIBLE NON REFORMED CHARACTER" attitude towards Starlight Glimmer, I think this episode will just add more fuel to the fire, considering Starlight switches Luna and Celestia's Cutie Marks, which is a major screw up on her part. But then again, we finally get an episode focused on Luna and Celestia, which is something we've been waiting for a long time.
Next week, huh? Spoiler: For those who have already seen it... This episode was everything I hoped for and more. It was slice of life, as we learned about the home lives of the princesses. We had magical hijinks, and a classic Twilight freakout. And, even if it was just a nightmare, we had an epic battle between Nightmare Moon and a villainous Celestia... who I guess is called Daybreaker in her evil form? Best of all, Celestia finally got a chance to save the day! It's about damn time the old girl gets her due.
I have a message to give to those who would either speak ill of this episode or the characters within, past, present, and future. To quote Pyrrhon from Kid Icarus: Uprising: Spoiler "What? I can't hear you over all this AWESOME!"
Not gonna lie, these Canadian airings pretty much killed the whole "see who can post the thread first after it airs" thing here. Not gonna bother with spoiler tags since a thread about an episode is self explanatory. It's late so I'll keep this short and sweet. It's Freaky Friday in pony form!!! Luna is cute even when tired and eating wierd stuff and seeing how Tia is when she's NOT in the public eye really makes me love her even more!! Starry screwed up... or did she? I love her emotion and how it affects what she does. And even when she screws up, it seems to be a blessing in disguise. As much as I love Sparky, I did have to yell "FINALLY" when she got stuffed in the drawer!! She did make a cute ballerina though!! And Daybreaker was cool!! Too tired for other tidbits so overall: 8/10 Also, to the OP, yeah, it's coming... just wait.
Dear Princess Celestia, Today I learned that you are pretty awesome when you are evil. Go ahead and try it sometime, I welcome our Daybreaker overlord. I am glad you are better friends with your sister, you two really are the best sisters. Yours Faithfully, Dragonbait P.S. Please don't be evil at the same time as your sister. If you team up, I seriously doubt that anything could stop the both of you if you work together. P.P.S. Also, that is not a suggestion. Please don't actually do that. P.P.P.S. Do it.
Such a fantastic episode. My favorite episode of the season so far and one of my favorites of all-time, possibly. The conflict between Princess Celestia and Princess Luna was handled so well. It was so funny to see them both be such cocky teenagers who couldn't handle each other's work at all. Praise Celestia, Celestia has character flaws! I thought Daybreaker would be my favorite part of the episode, but honestly, she was just a nice extra to me compared to the episode as a whole. On the subject of nice extras, Daybreaker turning to nothing but eyes before she vanished and Luna's teeth falling out are probably my favorite disturbing images this show has had. Loved this.
I seriously loved this episode, to me it was the most interesting episode in this season so far. It had about everything humor, drama and Celestias working day. Every episode should start with that face. It has absolute potential to become my favorite Twilight face in the whole series.
