Opening: Don't worry! This post is not in Gaelic. As fun it would be to be write and how cool it would look. This is an English speaking forum and as such I will respect those rules. Although, I did treat myself a little on the title. What? Isn't the point of titles to stand out? And how better to do but with the unusual. As I am sure, you don't see Gaelic titled threads on here often and won't be seeing them in the future because I would like people to be able to read my titles plus I think it's against the site's rules. I will be separating this Introduction into Sections of important information to keep things organized and to keep me on track. But, I have rambled for long enough. Let's get stuck in! Who am I?: Hello, my name is Carrick Edwin Reynolds. A name which sound familiar to some long-term people of the community or maybe not depending on whether you remember me. I am 15 and I live Ireland, although I am of British Heritage. I was an old MLP Fan back in the hype train known as seasons 1 - 4. Before, I stopped being a part of the community and stopped watching the show due to emotional problems. At the time, I used to be impulsive, rude, arrogant and childish, I have been working on these traits since "The Day". Which, I will not publish here as it's very personal and something I am not proud of at all. During this time, I distant myself from many things; I liked to focus on my actual Mental Health which was declining at the time; but is now in very good state. Since, I have started to become the opposite of that with both the good and the bad traits. While I am nicer now and usually just like being a good friend. I have become very uncertain of myself and self-conscious; something I have begun work on improving. I am self-writer and have written many non-public pieces of work. Which I may upload at a later date. I enjoy writing as I have an active imagination and are always trying to improve on my skills. English is actually my best subject netting me around an average of 80% in an Honor based class. An achievement, that I am quite proud of. some random things I enjoy are but are not limited to: Pokemon, Fire Emblem, Technology, Music, My Little Pony, Nintendo, How to Train your Dragon, Kingdom Hearts, Flight Rising, Fusion Fall, Apple Crumble, Adorable Birds, etc, etc, etc. But, I've rumbled for long enough. You are probably asking why I got back into the show and why I came back to this site. Let's go answer that shall we! What made you come back to show after you left? What attracted you back to the site: Well, after I sorted out my emotional issues and finally felt ready to go back to communicating with large groups of people again. I decided to get back into things, I had left behind. This included things like My Little Pony. As much as I regret some things I did while I was in the Fandom as they were rude and arrogant. I remember 99% of people being really nice. This left me with a drop of nostalgia. I remembered the first two seasons of the show well, but my knowledge of the third and fourth which were out at the time was a little more hazy. So I decided to start from there and watch all the other seasons before getting into the fandom. I have currently watched through the third season and are half way through watching the fourth. But my new building fondness for this show along with my nostalgia for the roleplaying; I used to do with the Fandom. Drew me back to the fandom itself and this site, I wanted to get through the 6th season before I joined the main herd again but I just couldn't help myself. My excitement got the better of me. Now I am back and emotionally stable this time. So I hope to make a lot of new friends here to replace the spot in my heart for the ones of old along with write the wrongs of my past by being kind and friendly. But enough with the sappy stuff. Ah, yes. I remember you! Long time no see! I have changed a lot since then, I am not proud of all my actions but I am certain and I can start again; now that my mental health is in good shape <3
I might have nightmares for a week or two. But hey, at least. It got rid of my sanity something I won't be needing as part of this fandom once more. Also, thank you for welcoming me back!
