    We finally learn about Applejack parents...how they met...how they got married...and the reason why Granny Smith doesn't like to talk about them...

    God, SO many feelz in this one!!! And their mother was SO beautiful and sweet!! The matter of characters in children's shows having lost loved ones is a tricky issue to tackle and I think it was handled very well in this episode. It was heavily hinted at and finally confirmed in Crusaders of the Lost Mark and I'm glad that they waited until it had time to sink in canonically before addressing the matter a little more in-depth. I have no tidbits.

    In all seriousness, this was a beautiful episode. I enjoyed it. Kind of had the Romeo and Juliet vibes to me. This is very relatable to the people out there that have lost their loved ones, I think they did a good job with the backstory. I like how they gave a few hints in previous episodes as well. Also, I find it quite interesting that Big Mac is getting more talkative in recent episodes. I give this a 10/10. Oh yeah, the ending though.....that really got to me. Them feels.....

    First A Royal Problem, then Discordant Harmony, and now this. We now have three amazing episodes to speak for the quality of Season 7. :trixieftw:

    Immaculate pacing and storytelling, nothing interrupting the flow or dragging on too long, genuinely touching, no sugarcoating the fact that Applejack's parents are dead, a marvelous work of art. I sincerely hope that this is a sign of the quality of the latter half of the season and the movie because this, I love. :smile2:

    I liked meeting Applejack's parents. But how close together are the siblings since it seems like none of them have any memories of their parents? Also, how did they die? That was such a tease! We must know!

    All of what was revealed took place before they were born so it doesn't really count as being BM, AJ, and AB's memories. More like they never knew how their parents met or about their past.
