I find that I'm not as into the show as I was when I first watched it. Anyone else feel the same way?
Yep as soon as the added Starlight to the credits. Don't get me wrong, I honestly was never that big a fan, more then a few episodes I couldn't stomach, but I just got tired of it after she got added to the credits.
But Glim Glam is best pony. :< Yeah, a lot of people feel that way. The show is a little different than when it first started.
Yes, it has changed a lot. As for me though, I still enjoy it. I think it's gotten better, in my opinion. I like how they're adding more new characters and that background characters are getting more attention.
I kind of have mixed feelings about it. I'm not much of a Glimmer fan myself, I still watch the show regardless. But I might be slowly starting to lose interest in it all of a sudden. Just doesn't feel the same to me. But I'll get used to it though.
I personally like the progress of the show, even that Twilight has now a student on her own. (Yes I kinda like Starlight Glimmer) I have to say even after four years (I started watching shortly after the first EQG movie came out) I'm still entertained by the show. It's also really interesting that I seem to like things that others see as a mistake. I pretty much came into the fandom when the whole Alicorn-gate happend and I still think that making Twilight an Alicorn was a good idea. I will stick to the mlp train until it reaches it's final destination and maybe even beyond.
I started watching with the first EG movie, but while there were some episodes of the show I enjoyed, a lot just seemed like a chore to watch. I still enjoy EG, but not the show.
Change is good. You wanna know what happens when a show never changes? When every episode is a reset button? When the status quo means more than character development?
While I have only been a fans as of October 2016 I feel the oppisote. Personally the show got better for me. And a lot of that has too do with Starlight Glimmer.
