It was never supposed to happen.... Over fifty years have passed since the fateful tragedy, the day that the Sun Princess 'snapped'. The day that Equestria had lost its beloved benevolent monarch, only for a broken soul of herself to replace her upon her people. Something died in Celestia that day, and it never came back. Only shortly after, the fate of the peaceful Kingdom. Instead, came the dark days of "The Empire" For over five decades, opposition to the Imperial regime was ruthlessly suppressed by the rapidly expanding armed forces of the Empire, bent on world domination in the name of Equestrian Superiority. So far, under the self-proclaimed 'Phoenix Queen', her plans are unstoppable. However, the growing resentment to Imperial rule gradually led to the rise of various resistance movements to topple the tyrannical government. It is finally time to stop the 'Phoenix Queen' It's time to save the world...
Totally interested, I have to make up an new OC for that. *runs off to his workbench, while laughing like a maniac* .... *construction sounds*
Hmm I'd need character guidelines and basic rules before assigning a character to this. Definitely interesting though
That all is part of the character sheet post, this is just for people expressing interest in the idea
Well I am interested. But before I get too involved I want to see if I may need to mame a new character and what it needs to be about, which can take a while.
I remember hosting an rp with a rather similar premise on another forum. I am in never the less. Could use at least an rp in here to be more active again
Hmmm. I'm not all that much into Group RPs with my history of one's I've joined dying. But I suppose I could give this a shot. I think I could make a pony version of Casserane that could play well with the concept of this. I just need to build her pony version.
I'm not accusing anyone of abandoning ship here, I'm just saying that I've dealt with it in the past. I've joined some really well made and big scaled RPs that end up dying almost immediately, or as the action of the story was about to start. Though there was one case where everyone in a group RP ignored my post and never said anything about why. I left it and it seemed to go on without me. It even finished. Eh, I sometimes do think I still have some hang-ups with group RPs and RPs in general because of those things happening.
Well, you wont have that problem from at least Crimson and I, and more than likely Morphin. We're old timer RPers that helped found this section after all (Crim's been here since 2011, me since 2012)
I apprecate that friendliness, even if it seems I don't. It's always good to have friends. Well, I am happy to hear that. I've done RPing for a long time myself, though most of it was one on one RPs for a long while with a friend I use to talk to on Skype a lot. So I do have some built OCs. Two of them are in my OC list. Actually speaking of, I'm done making the pony version of Casserane.
/o reporting 19 years of tabletop rpg experience, both as player and GM, also a lot of different systems. Sadly never played D&D, it's soo sad TT.TT
I've honestly never played DnD properly myself. I have seen people who do play it and I've see how it's played. It's pretty neat, if not really technical.
Tell me about it.... I tried to progress the story of a RP for about ten pages in a stalemate once. I was forced to godmod to make it continue, and when everyone got mad about it, I just gave up hope and left everyone
Now that's a case of 'you know RPers cannot RP right when' moment right there. I get if the collective don't know how to advance and have to make up something to push it along. But if your going to have people drone on for 10 pages of nothing, then there something *squee!*ing wrong with the RPers, not the RP. In that logic, them being angry was more childish when you had to god mod just to break the mold.
