"Hey, babe." Raven set her guitar aside and fell back to all fours. "Yours, too. Dang, that's growing out nice."
*A door opening can be heard, both by those within the bar, and at the nearest Night Guard post main entrance, before it is heard closing* (Standing outside the Night Guard post, and knocking on the door)
Blackout had just tossed Ironhorn and his bodyguard into a cell when someone came knocking on the gate. With a heavy sigh, he went out to greet them. "Can I help you?" *************************************************** Nightshade grinned. "I may need to trim it soon. Don't want to trip over it when I'm landing." She began pulling off her armor, then stopped and swore. "Dammit! Help me get this off? That friggin' bull at the camp messed it up." One of the buckles on the saddle plate had been mangled, clearly struck by a heavy bladed weapon.
Um yeah, can you tell me anything about the status of the distribution of any traded information from a trade agreement struck over the past 2 years between this government and any other planet. (Pulls out a document confirming trades had occurred and had been officially authorized for both conductance of the trades, and distribution of materials and knowledge gleaned.) I have paperwork to act as certification of these trades.
"Thanks, dear." Nightshade pulled the armor off and tossed it after the helmet. She'd get it fixed in the morning. "So how was your day?"
"It was alright," she answered. "Went to meet and greet some colts at the hospital. Not as exciting as yours, for sure."
"We finally caught Ironhorn. Asmo wouldn't let me eat his bodyguard." She picked her dress from the night before off the floor, and tossed it towards the hamper. New Year's Eve had been fun. "Az has another fight tonight. Defending some title. Again. You wanna go, or just watch it on TV?" ******************************************************************************** Blackout sighed. "I think you're looking for my dad. Blackheart. Baltimare City Hall. He's with the government. I'm just a Guard."
"Our boss wouldn't take very kindly to us sharing Grimlocks blood, the machines are a unique technology that he doesn't take kindly to us sharing." "The same reason I couldn't share my wand with your husband back at Club Myst. Lio is very protective of his tech, especially when it's something as unque was what I got in my blood. They make nanite look like boulders in comparison. " "Er, their on the femto- scale, nano- isn't that much larger is it?" "I don't know I'm not a techy, I'm a fighter and a planner."
Nightshade chuckled. "Somehow, I doubt that. I'm sure it'll be just as boring as all his other fights." ************************************************************************** Blackout nodded. "Yes, actually. His office is protected against transport magic. Try to open a door right in the office, and you'll end up two hundred feet underground inside solid bedrock."
"That reminds me." Raven put her hoof on Shady's shoulder. "Remember that thing we talked about a couple years ago? I think I'm ready."
Mmmm, Bedrock. Not fun, not easy to dig through, but quite easy to destroy believe it or not. I'll discuss that with you at a later date if you would like. Either way, that would not be preferable to do, having a massive sinkhole open up under Baltimare after a quantity of bedrock is destroyed and/or moved. Anywhere that I can use a door to get to, or should I just use Quantum Entanglement to transport my quantum state and then move my consciousness along the quantum tunnel I use?
Nightshade arched an eyebrow. "Really? Like, tonight?" ************************************************************** Blackout blinked loudly. "I just mean you should port into the lobby or something."
(Thinking and exclaiming.) OH right. Your civilization hadn't gotten that far yet.... well you kinda should've started which is why I am going to talk with some higher ups. Anyways, thanks for the help. (Opens the door to the lobby of Blackheart's office)
Nightshade shrugged. "I won't stop you, but are you really sure you're ready?" ************************************* Blackheart's secretary, a striking unicorn mare, greeted whichever one of Arch's characters had just shown up. Seriously, first person narrative is hard to interact with when you have multiple characters.
((Sorry, Been running Rep right now, only character I plan to bring in for a bit.)) Rep: Thank you for the greeting. I'm here to see Blackheart. (Once more pulls out the aforementioned paperwork in preparation)
