I thought for sure I'd rule this place with an iron fist by now!! SRSLY though... I was sort of "giving the fandom another chance" after feeling not so welcome on the first forum I joined. Figured surely these bronies couldn't ALL be stuck up jackasses, right?
And then there are those of us who aren't jerks and aren't true fans of the show. Mysteries abound! But in answer to the initial question, I signed on here out of boredom. My usual hangouts (Lioconvoy will know which ones) have become rather quiet over the years for the most part, and I just wanted someplace where I could waste a few minutes and maybe talk about the show if I ever thought of something worth talking about. That, and I knew a few people here. My opinion at the time was "eh, it's alright". Nowadays, it's more like "eh, whatever".
To be sincere, there was a lot of hesitation. "Do I really wish to do this?" is a question that needed deliberation before the decision to register became final.
I hesitated quite a lot since I'm not any sure how active I'm going to be here. The forum looked interesting though so it was pretty much enough to lure me in anyways.
I felt about the same way I always do when signing up on a new forum; hopeful. I like to try new things and most forums I join quickly run out of new topics because I post a lot. I'll try to make this one last because I like the looks of it.
