She was the younger sister to two brothers who always roamed around the forest hunting small animals for food or just playing with lost travelers for their own amusement, distracting them or playing pranks on them. Although she loved them, she felt it was wrong, and rarely went out of her home, instead deciding to learn about spirits and mystical properties. Occultism apparently was the name ponies gave to this practice, from what she gathered from the book. It was old, but in a good state. She spent her childhood learning about it and had a rather good understanding of it. Something that bugged her is that she never found a book or writing that talked about her species. Her family knew just a few things about themselves, and were clueless about their own nature most of the time. Even herself was confused at this, and was not happy she didn't knew much about herself. As she grew older, she eventually left her home to roam around. Some time later when she roamed around the forest she found a lost pony who had passed out. This seemed different from the other travelers, so she decided to help him. Although she didn't wanted to reveal she was a kitsune, she got some clothes and hid her tail from her home, which was nearby a cave she somehow dragged him into, making her look like a simple fox that could talk. Perhaps something not as odd as her real species perhaps. And she was right! The pony turned out to be a detective who was heading back to Catnerlot after a successful mission and had offered her to take her there as a matter of thanks for saving him, noticing that she had never left the forest. Although silver was not sure, she finally decided to go and said her goodbyes to her family before departing to Catnerlot. Once there, they found out there was a robbery nearby in a shop, and the pony decided to investigare before heading back to the castle. To his surprise, the little fox had some keen senses and was able to help him found out who the culprit was. Noticing her talent, he decided to take her as her student so she could become a full detective. She agreed, being happily she could do something for others, and got to work. The pony tough her the basics of being a detective, as well as how to defend herself, taking advantage of her small frame and speed rather than force, all the time managing to hid her real identity as a kitsune, although the detective knew something was off with her. It was until a few years had passed that he found out she was no ordinary fox, but a creature of legends! He encouraged her to reveal herself, but she refused, saying it was better this way. He understood her reasoning and kept her secret from that day onward, even after he retired, although there are times her second tail comes out by accident. She is now fully devoted to becoming the best detective there had ever been thanks to her mentor. *barely controlled giggling* No? We're trying to see if you can comfortably play a Tabletop System over the top of a Post-By-Post forum RP so there's a decent amount of numbers and stuff. Also, that sorta was the short version in one blast. Once you get going, it's smooth sailing and I can explain better as we do things. We can make you a quick character but for your first throw at an RP, you might want to go for something less advanced where they won't ask you to make any dice rolls.
