(the episode has been leaked, hence why I'm starting this thread) Starlight Glimmer reunites with Sunburst! Will they find they still have things in common? How will Sunburst react to Starlight's friends? What has Sunburst been doing since we last saw him?
This has been the leakiest in history! Get your stuff straight next year, networks!! Anygoo, this was yet another Starlight episode that I thoroughly enjoyed!! Like the issue Zipporwhill had with Ripley, I really felt bad for her when she genuinely thought she couldn't connect with her friend anymore. And the lengths she went to didn't have their usual comedic effect. Rather, they seemed to touch a different part of the soul. I FELT her desperation and heartbreak. Pretty heavy stuff for a show about colorful talking horses!! Anygoo, no tidbits, just a solid story! Overall: 8/10
Good pre-season finale episode. I do feel this wasn't the best we've seen of Trixie and Maud, but Starlight turning herself and Sunburst into foals so they could play together as kids again was disturbingly awesome. Too bad the scene goes by so fast.
