Selena: No offense taken, but I'd like to show you what I can do, however I don't have an instrument with me. Soooo.....I cant'. Even if I did have an instrument, it'd end up breaking something. Rep: Selena, I'd be able to fix most damage, but even then, you should still ask Maya, and Dusty before doing anything that could cause said damage. Selena: Oh, ok. Maya, Dusty can I do something that might break a window or something?
Azrael simply nodded, standing up from his seat. "Yeah I do." Maya hopped back over the counter. Dusty's eyes widened slightly. "Maya. Tartarus?" Maya shrugged. "I'll have backup, babe. Watch Moondust while I'm out running errands?"
Rep: I think I'm going to find Edmond. (Beginning the same thing that he had used back at the facility but adding a little bit more.) With the full force of a dying star, (realizes that performing a full stellar collapse type event inside the bar could cause issues, with the bar being the focal point of the Battle of Godsfall and the multiple points of Dimensional Shifts, twists, and other such variations and changes of the Universe and Dimension) umm yeah, not doing that here, at least not inside. Especially considering a short hand form wouldn't be powerful enough to find Edmond, with me not being at full capacity.
The Luna dropped at of hyperspace at an unspecified point somewhere between where there were and where they were going. The ship had taken some damage during the battle, and they decided it would be best not to tax the warp drive further until repairs were complete. As the engineering crew began the repairs, Ridley noted that this would be a very good time for a certain specific character to make his appearance. ************************************************************************* "So," Nightshade began, polishing a smudge out of her favorite spear, "When do we leave?"
Rep: (walking outside, and visible through the window, and actually performing the full version of the same thing he did at the facility with what seemed like shadowy, flickering instruments floating around him and a weird touchscreen panel in front of him that he had pulled from his pocket and expanded, creating a vortex visually similar to a black hole, and, after taking the panel, stepping through it shortly before it and the instruments vanished, leaving a song's ending chords faintly drifting through the air) ((The ending chords are of this, Spoiler )) *A small anomaly could be detected near the Luna, before a signal is received by the crew, an SOS from a small pod exiting what seemed to be a wormhole, the anomaly. The pod was running on emergency power, and carrying but one passenger, Edmond. The wormhole wavered and promptly closed.*
"I'm ready when you are," Raven said with a slight hiss backing her voice. The rest of the party seemed to be in agreement. Asmodeus made sure he had his disguise perfected. It would need to be to pull this off. "This son of a *squee!* won't know what hit him. 'Cause he'll be dead."
Selena: (still standing near the door, and pulling out a small crystal) I'll come with, but I'll need a bass, or electric guitar, or even an acoustic would work. *Rep, currently floating through what could be called an inescapable void or point by those without a semi advanced understanding of physics on a cosmological scale, or anyone or pony who had studied the works of Albert Einstein ((I find this hard to ponefy the name. Please help if you can)), seemed to be collecting energy, but also searching through flashes of light that sporadically appeared.*
"Ehh... Here." Raven picked up her guitar, which was still sitting against the counter, and offered it to Selena. "Just make sure I get it back, alright?"
Selena: (nods) Thanks. (Tales the guitar from Raven and gives it an experimental strum, before playing the opening to Spoiler ) Awesome.
Selena: Yeah. You'll get it back. And when I'm done I'll retune it for what you play, and replace the strings too.
"Alright," Blackout said. "Let's get moving. We should hit the armory before we go, obviously. Closest one is Hollow Shades, unless Maya has a secret arsenal in the basement." ************************************************************************* "Anomaly off the starboard bow," the Dracaryn officer reading the scanners said flatly. It was common for random junk to drop out of hyperspace in the middle of nowhere. Probably a waste dump from a freighter in the slipstream. The officer was surprised, then, when the life-signs indicator lit up. "Escape pod. Manufacture unknown, but not Imperial. One life sign, and the power is failing." Silver nodded."Get a security team and medical officer to bay three and bring it aboard." ********************************************************************************* Several minutes later, the pod was in an empty docking bay surrounded by armed Dracaryns, two of whom were forcing the pod open.
"Don't have a basement anymore," Maya replied, leading the assault force outside and over the bridge with her. "You realize the whole structure is essentially just floating on a glorified wooden board," Navaja pointed out. Azrael took a deep breath, mentally preparing himself for the battle to come. "We should go over the plan one more time," Asmo suggested. "Y'know, make sure everypony gets it."
Blackout nodded. "Not much of a plan, really. We'll make our way down to the first level, and set up a base at the gate to the second. Cricket and Asmodeus will disguise themselves as demons and make their way to level three, where they'll hopefully find some of Belial's followers and learn his location. Winter will stay just behind them, cloaked and invisible. Once they figure out where he is, then they'll do whatever it takes to get him to us. And then we kill him."
Selena: Sounds good to me. Rep: (gonna keep searching) *As the guards pry into the escape pod, the door bends and eventually gives way with the hiss of pressure seals breaking and the crack of pneumatic hinges breaking. Inside the one passenger was Edmond, in a type of hibernation/meditation to keep his organics sustained.*
"It's barely a plan to begin with," Nightshade commented. "We're relying on demons from Tartarus --some of the most unpredictable creatures in existence-- to behave like we expect them to." They were about halfway between the bar and Hollow Shades by now, just entering the forest. If it seems like they'd gotten that far unrealistically quickly, shut up and go with it. ************************************************************************** The repairs on the Luna were done quickly, the ship re-entering hyperspace moments before the pod was opened. A pair of Dracaryn medics looked over the humanoid in the pod, and finally decided that that best course of action would be to poke him and see if he woke up.
