It's a Christmas episode!...in August. Someone ruins Twilight Sparkle's Hearth's Warming tree and Spike's present, and that someone is one of the Student Six. So, as the six of them are in detention until one of them confesses, we find out the Changeling, Yak, Hippogriff, Gryphon and dragon equivalent of Christmas, and how each of those five races celebrate it.
Twilight: I could cast a spell and just find out who did it, but instead I'm going to cause horrible anxiety to five children to teach one a lesson. Also, aren't their parents going to want them to come home anyways? I'm pretty sure the school will legally have to listen to the parents' wishes over the students...
