Okay first that cartoon wasn't that great, second nope...I should have but didn't. What is Pharoah Man's power?
I've never seen too much of the cartoon myself, so I wouldn't know if it was any good or not (though I do know that parts of it were just plain weird)... but anyway, Pharaoh Man's power was this orb of solar energy called the Pharaoh Shot. Its appearance in the cartoon from what I've read is much different, but hey---I've always preferred the video game over the cartoon anyway. >^_^< ...And I realized after posting that I had the incorrect game in the title. Crud. *facepalm*
Well it's okay to make mistakes with those games. The classic series of Mega Man isn't exactly easy. But I have always heard a lot of revere and love for the levels, music, and the general challenge. The only thing all fans of mega man can agree on, is that they HATE the disappearing blocks puzzles.
Pretty much what "Casual Failure" is all about: keeping track of how much damage I take, times hit, and lives lost and then grading myself accordingly. It's time consuming, but I still find it fun. I know what you mean about the disappearing blocks, though: I outright skipped that part of Heat Man's stage. ()^_^ And as for skipping, I'm not doing MM7. The final stage is more than I can handle without practicing, and that's outright violating one of the rules of CF.
Yeah. I have seen how Nightmare-ish Mega Man 7's final stages are. Also there is a obscure but obligatory Ghouls and Ghosts (aka Ghost and Goblins) reference with Shade Man's stage~ In fact, the whole stage is a huge reference to that.
You know when I heard the DLC character for SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy was going to be Arthur, I thought it was the Arthur from Ghouls and Ghost. You know the one spell where he's turned into a woman. I blame tran4of3 on DeviantArt
