This episode is a tie-in to the theatrical movie, with the Crusaders going to visit the Hippos, who are still in their "Sea Pony" form. So, what did you think of the episode?
Not huge on CMC episodes but this was a pretty good one. Sweetie Belle and Scoot's reactions to the 2 different environments were absolutely adorable! I really wanna see Scoot fly before the show inevitably comes to an end! That said, I feel like the solution to the problem was obvious from the beginning but, as someone who grew up with parents who are divorced, maybe that's easier for me to see than someone who is or has not. Overall: 6/10
I just watched this episode, and there are two things I don't get: 1-Why was there a conflict at all? Sequestria is right next to Mount Aris, so Terramar's parents live next dor to each other...wouldn't it make more sense for one of the parents to live in Klugetown, or Appleloosa, or anywhere else further away? I don't understand why was Terramar "conflicted" if his parents live next door to each other. 2-So, the Hippos can turn into Seaponies because they all have a shard of the Pearl of Polymorph... ...in that case, shouldn't they be able to shift into more than just Seaponies? Remember, Twilight wanted the Pearl to use as a weapon against the Storm King, so it's clear that she wanted to use it to turn the Storm King into a flowerpot, or turn herself into a T-Rex.
