By that, you mean Season 2 of Better Together, right? Honestly, so far my favorite episode is "The Craft of Cookies". It's a very simple concept: Human Pinkie putting on a cooking show. Yet it's hilarious. My only complaint is that they made Earth Gummy a plushie so Human Pinkie has to hang around with Earth Tank instead. Couldn't they just make Earth Gummy an iguana? Also, it's weird seeing Human Pinkie react negatively to eating too many chocolate chips, considering Pony Pinkie is a Big Eater who is rarely affected by the vast amounts of food she eats.
"Sic Skateboard": It's Dashie's pet tortoise in a skateboard...and that's it, it's a tortoise in a skateboard.
Oh, and I guess I should voice my opinion on the other episodes: -"DYI With Applejack": meh. Not zany enough to be funny, no in-depth enough to be educational. -"Unboxing With Spike": I'm honestly stunned that Sci-Twi cares more about the whole unboxing deal that the fact that Spike just outed himself as a talking dog for all the internet to see. -"Street Magic": I'm more disappointed than anything. I really wished Trixie actually had magical powers. Not only because it would make her more like her Pony counterpart, but also because, after "Forgotten Friendship", I think she needs to be part of the "main human" team.
"Game Stream"... ...or should I say, "Battletoads: The G Rated version". Sunset was James. Fluttershy was Kyle. Which I actually liked, since it's one of the better AVGN episodes. And the bit at the end, fittingly enough, sums up James' approach. He always has a good time, despite the awfulness of the game. Well, except for "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde".
I realize I'm a few weeks late on this, but I just wanted to say that 'Game Stream' really hit it home for me. I've had a fair bit of anger directed at video games over the years, more so since I started doing recordings (not live ones, mind you). And oddly at the end of the day, I end up going back to the game I was having trouble with anyway, so I think I can actually identify with Sunset on this.
-"Best in Show": I thought it was a nice pair of episodes. I like seeing more of Fluttershy's "animal whisperer" power. It was also hilarious when Micro Chips brought forth a robot as a pet. -"Schedule Swap": This one I just don't get. Wouldn't they still get at least get one class when the seven of them are together? And they spend most of the time together anyway, so I don't see what the problem is.
All a matter of principle, I guess. Though granted I haven't watched that one yet (and won't be able to until sometime this evening), so I'll see about that when I get there. Also, it's "Swap", not "Slip". As a side note, I was reading the synopsis for it online, and something struck me as off. Prior materials, such as the "My Past Is Not Today" video, showed Sunset as having competed in three Fall Formals prior to the one Twilight bested her at. Given the series' American development, it's safe to conclude that CHS is in the USA (or its in-universe equivalent), right? That means it should be a four-year high school, with the movies taking place during their fourth year there. But seeing that the start of a new school year was depicted in this one, I have to ask: do 5-year high schools even exist in the US and Canada, or is this a continuity error on the part of the series' developers?
"Five Stars": I don't get why those Screech Stars are so important to Pinkie. Pinkie is humble...she already has the approval of the diner, so that should be enough for her. And the diner is doing well, so it's not like the diner itself needs those Stars. However, this does show that this Pinkie is as much of a super-talented cook as the Pony one...even if she has an unfair advantage. Namely, that humans eat meat, so Human Pinkie's cooking is less restricted that Pony Pinkie's cooking.
