It's kind of similar, I'm not really sure how to explain it, I guess you could say the accent is different but the mannerisms are very similar. This video gives a pretty good example of the NZ accent.

No worries man, it's a legitimate question. I guess the short answer would be yes but the long answer would be yes and no, excluding those who have just recently come to Australia, pretty much everyone has an Aussie accent. However since we're quite a multicultural country you get a lot of mixes, people who speak just like any other Australian using the same mannerism and everything, but will still have a touch of their original accent. If that makes sense? I don't think I explained it particularly well :derpe:

Er... If you are posting a pointless post and even notice it, why do you then do so? I'm sorry to be so rude, but I don't like it when somepony spams in my RP. So, if you could kindly delete your post again, you might probably be faster than the moderators. (It has already been reported, so it will be deleted, but I want to give you the chance to do it yourself.)
