The first three chapters are up in General - "Shadows of the Past." It's a long story, though. My OC has been floating around in my head for a while, and I used good old General Zoi to work out details. Just did what seemed right. And good for your sister! I wouldn't mind going into publishing, either - not sure what kind of publishing companies are here in Reno, though. Suppose it's something to look into.
Oh, not much. Just the usual - work, ponies, dealing with relatives, ponies, and, of course, ponies. Kind of quiet on the forums, so I'm just going to listen to music and write. Oh, I do have to call some people first. Rats. Oh, and I got my OC pony up. Anything exciting going on with you?
Oh, trust me! I know having a boring job is better than no job. But, it doesn't stop me from looking for another job - as hard as that is. I'm a trained Pharmacy Technician, but I don't have any experience, so the people with experience get the jobs first. Sigh. And I suppose I'm a bit broad in my definition of winter here - yes, it snows starting in October, but not much. Some years, we go with just a few inches all year, but lately it's been cold all the time from about late November to April. It's just that by the time April rolls around, and it starts getting up to 60, it still doesn't feel very warm.
In Reno, it stays pretty hot until about mid-October - then it starts to snow. And sometimes it don't stop until May. Off and on, off and on. And weeks of it never getting over 30 degrees. I really hate the winter up here. I used to love winter, too. I work from 3 to 11 at night, usually stay up until one or two am, and get up at about 8. I'm a bit more of a zombie at work, since it's so dull down there. Eh, it pays the bills.
Yeah. I figured it would. I just have to draw it out first. I'll work on that during class this week. I listen better in class when i doodle. Hahaha, that would be awesome! I'll definitely draw her as a Seapony! xDD Especially since i was thinking that i was going to make her Cutie Mark have something to do with water. Because i LOVE. WATER. Cold water. I drink a LOT of cold water during the day, i shower in cold water, i swim in cold water, i stand in the rain when it's cold. I just love it. I have no idea why. So that's an idea for my OC. ^^
It was my days off - going back to work today, in about 4 1/2 hours. And it's still hot out there. You must be one of those night people - you were up later than me, even more so since you're further east. And a quick check shows you're from the land of Lincoln. Must be hotter out there.
Well, yes. I realise that if i were a pony, i wouldn't have control over what kind of pony i would be. BUT. That also makes it difficult. Because... what WOULD i be? I don't know. Because i am not actually one. So... i'm just going to think about it for a while. Maybe i'll figure a final decision out.... Is... there some kind of quiz that could help me? I tried looking one up, but the only one i found that was "Which species are you?" was for the old show. And i got a "Seapony". Which is not even applicable. xD Yes, my avatar is my OC. And i do agree, she looks good with a horn. She does also look good with wings, but then it just feels like she's missing something on her head. Soooo.... But i'm going to actually draw her out soon; because i have this fedora that i love and i wear it ALL THE TIME. So i was going to have her wear it as well, since she is me. And i'm going to see if the hat makes the wings look fine.
Sweating it out. And by that, I mean it's hot here. Just checking e-mail and EveryPony (not in that order). Otherwise, just having a relaxing day off, watching movies with my wife.
Yeah, it doesn't really fit. They're also next to my Ryan Reynolds posters. Basically, they belong together because they're all awesome.
Hahaha! Thank you! I feel successful for making so many new friends today! :D Including you, of course. ^^ Well... yes... but... It's not what i WANT to be. I always make my OCs as accurate to myself as possible. So i'm being whatever one i WOULD be, not whatever one i WANT to be. But also, i don't even know which one i want to be, truthfully.... I'm just so confused. ;3;
Haha I'm glad! Mine are in my dorm next to La Dispute and Harry Potter posters... it seemed fitting at the time.
