You need some way to get it out there that people won't be annoyed about.

People get subscribers pretty quickly atm for pony content, especially high content stuff.

Perhaps you could make like a community channel and advertise in the descriptions of videos in that,
but the thing is you need to get content that'll get people interested in watching in the first place, so that's a bit difficult.

Of course fitting up sound samples and videos to like old video game songs could actually be a way to gain some attention, but you'll need to have some experience with audio and video editing to produce anything that'll keep people interested.

Yeah that does seem odd
Though I remember Aaron had downgraded his site from 4.0x (when it had a legitimate community) because he said it was buggy
Guess this is one of those areas where it acts funny, aside from that it's pretty nice though, lot's of useful features and things, on top of being generally more aesthetic.
