She held the last piece of clothing in her hands, a shirt, and she squinted at him, backing up a little before running at him and jumping on his back.
“Hm. Let’s put it this way... do you think I’m stupid?”
"Well," she said, slipping her pants on with a little grunt as she hopped after him. "You wanted this."
"No, I'm saying that because you're my closest confidante, and I would give that trust to some dummy."
She followed him, dropping the towel and putting on the clothing as she walked. "No, this is what you wanted."
He laughed, leaning over and kissing her head. "You're plenty smart."
She raised an eyebrow before standing up, her hand on the towel. "Fine, if you want to make this weird."
"More open-minded, then?"
She smirked before raising one eyebrow. "Close your eyes."
"Understanding?" he repeated. "How so?"
She sat on the bed, holding the rest of the clothes patiently.
"What's one thing you wish you could change about yourself?"
She started laughing, watching him lovingly. "Yeah, babe. You literally took mine off half an hour ago."
He looked up at her suddenly, beaming as the waiter returned with their food. When he left, he continued. "Okay. Next question."
She squinted good-naturedly. "Two more."
