She frowned, her eyes on the floor thoughtfully. "I don't really like them.."
He laughed. "For now. But I really do want you to drink more water later, okay?"
"I don't know of you like me," he said, beginning to walk to the door, "nor do I care."
"I would be pretty disappointed," she murmured, then looked up at him. " By the way, what are your thoughts on kids?"
"I'm okay," he said. "Thanks, though."
"Because if I don't like him," he said, almost condescendingly, "then I probably don't like his girlfriend."
"Okay," she said. "I would never cheat on you, anyways."
"Thank you," he said. "Do you want me to get it for you?"
"I'm sure that's what you'd wish was the case," he said, obviously unamused. "I just dislike him."
Avice turned to Jack. "I think that went pretty well."
He placed his hands on her shoulders, then kissed her cheek. "Poppy? Please drink water.. I'm worried about you."
He picked up his book, and placed it neatly into his bag. "Interesting," he said. "I'd assume you'd spend it with your boyfriend."
"The truth is what they'll want to hear, Bridget," she said softly. "It's just my advice."
"Too bad," he said. "You have to drink it. I'll even ask nicely, if you want."
"I forgot my book," he mumbled, going to retrieve it. "I could ask you the same thing."
"Okay," she said, it would be obvious she didn't believe her. "Let's sort this out, anyways."
"Good," he said. "I don't want to fight you. Oh, right. The nurse said to drink water, too."

She glanced at Jack thoughtfully. "I think we'd need to talk about it, and then come to an understanding of what would happen next." She then...
