Landon jumper into his car, turning it on while checking around.
"My compliments," he began slowly, "from me to you?"
She shifted, sighing softly in her sleep.
Landon looked around with a slight frown before dashing in the direction of his car.
He raised an eyebrow. "I thought you didn't like compliments?"
(Yep!)
He nodded thoughtfully. "That sounds good."
He raised an eyebrow. "Is that a challenge?"
(Yeah!)
He paused. "I guess so. What do we do?"
He chuckled softly. "That's a high compliment."
(Zoom?)
He hesitated. "I don't know. That might seem suspicious."
He chuckled. "Is that a problem?"
Eventually she drifted off, her hands gripping his shirt gently.
Landon nodded carefully. "Yeah."
"Hmph. Not in front of people."
She sighed, relishing the closeness between them, her eyes shut as she buried her face in his chest.
Landon pretended not to notice, and continued walking without speaking.
He grinned slightly. "Nothing too embarrassing, though."
