He stopped in front of a door before opening it. He flicked on a light revealing multiple cabinets and stacks of papers.

She once again didn't reply, her fingers grazing her shirt as she felt the bandage underneath.
He nodded, taking her hand and leading her down a hall with multiple doors.
He nodded slowly, feeding him before returning. "I'll watch her while you shower."
She said nothing, but shook her head with a sigh.
He kissed the top of her head. "I'll have the clean the place up a bit. I think the file room will be the most tedious to sort through."
He chuckled, patting Tom's head before checking on the fish.
He looked over at her, resting a hand on her shoulder. "Is something wrong?"
Francis cocked his head. "Suspicious dog is suspicious."
"Exactly. You don't like things that make you uncomfortable." She frowned. "I'm sorry."
He smiled, keeping behind her.
She nodded slowly. "I'm sure it's annoying."
He looked around, his brows furrowed. "It always felt so empty."
