She grinned at him, thanking the waiter quietly.
She dozed off after a while, turning his face into his shoulder.
“They have languages too,” he said after a moment. “You know? They can talk too.”
“You remember on the ship when I was the life of the party?”
He laughed, resting his forehead on her shoulder. “It was?”
“Thats not the case with you and I.”
“Good,” she said quietly, sounding vaguely sleepy. “Stay here.”
“I always thought it was peaceful.”
“Yep. That’s me.”
He pulled away after a moment with a small grin
“It’s not.”
She closed her eyes and relaxed, a small smile on her mouth. “Are you staying here tonight?”
He looked down at her. “What do you mean?”
“I’m not a real partier.”
His hand came up to cup her jaw and his mouth found hers slowly but surely.
“Is that possible?”
She laughed slightly, turning on her back again, but still resting her head on his arm. “Excellent.”
He walked quietly beside her, his eyes darting nervously to look at her occasionally.
“Party?”
His nose brushed her skin and he dipped his head to kiss her cheek.
