Sariel sat on the grass, watching her. It started out as small sprouts, but they began to grow into trees.
"Is that it?"
"Yes, them."
"Well, you said you've been practicing your magic. Just do that."
She tilted her head, watching him.
She sighed. "We should probably go back in there before they make too much of a mess."
He waved it off. "I will. Don't worry."
"What are the other reasons?"
She hugged him. "You mean the world to me, you know."
He tilted his head. "I'm okay. I can make myself tea, anyways."
"Oh. Yeah. How come August doesn't come out here often?"
"That's not you," she reassured, running a hand through his hair.
"I don't generally sleep but I can't help but feel tired, so I'm going to relax in my study."
"For now?"
"No you don't. Not you."
"Surprised at me? You should know I'm not feeling very adventurous right now."
"Okay. Thank you," she said gratefully.
"You make any worries go away."
He watched her. "I trust it'll be fine."
