She grinned. "Which one?"
"I should have been more honest," he said, obviously trying to sound more casual than he felt.
She seemed surprised, but looked down at him. "You, mostly."
She said nothing more, relaxing as she watched over the rabbit adoringly.
"It's fine. What happened has passed."
She kissed his forehead lightly.
"Aisling," she murmured under her breath. "Pretty."
He sat down, folding his hands. "Adeline."
She didn't seem to notice, relaxing as she brushed through his hair with a light hum.
She watched quietly, focusing on the rabbit as she pet it.
